  • As far as the release of movies goes, the USA has midnight movie releases because of the huge consumer culture here. Companies know that they can make more money (more tickets sold, etc.) by opening a movie at 0001 on the release date. Of course, for something as big as Harry Potter, I'm sure that some of the fandom in the UK would be willing to go to a midnight release of such a film, but the companies have to see that and recognize the profit there for that to happen.

  • I wish I got a TARDIS cake for my birthday. Maybe next year...

  • What does it say above your fireplace?

I know this is like my 3rd comment today but I'm catching up on your videos haha.

  • It DID used to say "have you seen or have you heard" "feeling so bohemian like you" and "starcrossd" - some of my favourite songs a few years ago, but recently I painted over them all!

  • As a harry potter fan, how would you react if Harry was to die in the seventh book? I reakon he will, or at least Ron or Hermeronie will die.

  • I have to say that a horrible gut instinct tells me that Hermione will die and Harry will live. I would cry a lot if Harry dies, a lot a lot, but I'm ignoring my horrible gut instinct as I would cry even more if Harry did.

  • Im so Glad you were wrong about Hermione Dying!

I hardly cried at all during the book , Not because I wasnt EXTREMELY upset at The deaths but more because I find it SOOOOO Unbeliveably hard to cry, But I cried When Hermione Was being tortured because , like you, I was CONVINCED Jo was going to kill her off!!! Im SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Gkad she didnt because hermione is my ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!

  • AAAAAH! It is really so soon.

lol, I love your anger toward us getting the film first.

You're so articulate, Rosi, I love it :D

  • Yay for soon, and nay for soon, oh dear.

It's unfair! But oh well, I'll get over it.. perhaps :P

    Thanks Ritaa XD!

  • I'm annoyed with that aswell!! The whole Harry Potter being released over there early is rubbish and not fsair aswell. I'm quite scared about the book aswell, I've pre-ordered it, but I dont eant it to come out lol because thats it...end of Harry Potter waaaaa!!!

  • Haha, UK wide annoyance! Waaa indeed, what are we to do!

  • u look great!! love the hair when its this lenght! keep the fringe over ur eye... looks yummy!!

  • Rosianna, you're seriously so adorable. I admire you, I really do. Also loved the video.

  • Ta, Luis :D

  • 451 by bradbury was an amazing book! he acually came to my high school a couple years back. i remember being like 12 going to what would be my future school's aditorium and wacthing this brilliant man discuss his life and work. it was a honor to meet him at the end of his presentation as well...i should try and find that pic i have with him...its somewhere in my messy house. lol.

  • Now that is an amazing privilege. Just reading his prologue about how Fahrenheit 451 got published made me hungry to meet him, even before I'd read the book!

  • wow are you going to the lavender auditions?

thinking about that you suit! good luck! =].

and haha about the England thing. pisses me off aswell.

  • Thanks for the goodluck thing :) I would be so extremely happy if I even got through the first round of auditions!

  • "Fahrenheit 451" and "1984" and "Lord of the Flies" Ah, so great. And as far as the new HP debuting in America sooner than in Great Britain, I will say this. Your country has spawned the most iconic and brilliant authors. In America all we really had was Kurt Vonnegut and Hunter Thompson. :(

Basically, what I'm saying is, you guys have literature and we have film. Let us stay one step ahead in the realm of film, because we cannot possibly equal your country in the realm of the written word.

  • Haha, fair enough :D I thought this was only quite out of order because while I understand films like Shrek 3 being released in the USA first, it's annoying to hear that a massively British film won't be released here at the same time as the rest of the world! But, on behalf of my country's lit., I thank you :)

  • Haha, i've said it before, but omg you look so much like Emma Watson :)

And yeah, it's really scary... 23 days!

  • AKA Three weeks and two days... :O

  • Aw poor Blair. :( And poor Rosianna! Haha. That cake looked amazing. But 23 days? Oh wow... Oh! I might go get your top today. :D I'm going to the bookshop which is near the mall, so I might pop in and get it. What size do you wear? And where did you find the emails of those you emailed about Darfur?

  • Oh the cake was so good! I took much delight in eating his body parts, haha. Erm, I'm a UK 10 which is a US 8, I think.

The email addresses are on a blog entry on the HP Alliance myspace, i.e blog[dot]myspace[dot]com/hpalliance

  • Oh, who wouldn't enjoy eating his body parts? xD Haha. Well actually, the shirts are small/medium/large sizes. So you'd probably be a medium then, I think.

  • Oh yeah, medium sounds fab.

  • wow, as i watch this, ther eare 23 days 14 hours 15 minutes and 10 seconds

  • 23 days 6 hours 7 mins 36 secs :D
