  • I bet it was fun being a NYC policeman that day holding back all those screaming girls.

  • @IcouldBNE1 I think the police hated them everywhere they went!

  • All those needy, screaming little twats. Yech. No wonder I'm gay.

  • Back during Beatlemania people thought The Beatles were the best band ever. Now a days we know they are the best band ever.

  • Oh i love Ringo so much :)) <3

  • oh, how they make my laugh!

  • The part of the film where they are in the limo - that's the day after they arrived in NYC. They are headed to the Ed Sullivan Theater to rehearse/sound check. George isn't with them because he was sick in bed with the flu. His sister (a registered nurse) was taking care of him while John, Paul & Ringo went to the theater to rehearse. Neil Aspinall (their road manager) stood in for George during their rehearsals. (also - off camera Cynthia Lennon is sitting on John's lap).

  • @stevehasthevoice awww poor georgie

  • I love how Paul casually says,"Hi girls." Like its no big deal. haha! i ove him

  • haha 1:05 paul: hello girls

  • I bet you I am one of those girls, but reincarnated :) I must have been, because I would have done the same thing.

Oooh, so THAT'S why there are locks on car doors...

  • Best accents ever :)

  • we can't compare anything or any band with Beatles. They were unique, and we shouldn't try to bring them back. I mean if George's and John's sons decide to play with Paul and Ringo, it wouldn't be anything like Beatles. We can only feel what they showed us, and taught us to. I will be forever pleased to remember what they were.

  • I love the Beatles so much it hurts. I wish a band as grand as them existed nowadays. You know, a band that would have me trying to open they're limo door. a band that most cannot possibly hate.A band that will b welcomed as greatly as the Beatles. and a talented band. O i would attend all concerts and scream my lungs out. But I feel that is very close to impossible. :(

  • dic54, yes thank you kindly.

  • fake and gay

  • Wow, this was precious..like having a birds-eye view of what it felt like for the boys. Sweet. Thank you for this! :)

  • I love how John or Ringo just calmly goes 'Lock the door'

  • 0:55 Haha Paul "Hi ev'rybodee!"

  • @freklfacejpgr Hahaha yes! That's hilarious!

  • 1:05: "Hi, girls."

  • That was entertaining;)

  • yo, what city or state was this, does anyone know?

  • Yo, everyone knows! They arrived in New York City in New York State, USA

  • @dlc54 im new to the beatle fan club..

  • poor george not with his buddies

  • Oh the poor lads. How dehumanising.. but a thrill for thousands :)

  • ....look at em all.

  • poooooooooor paul LOL

  • Wonder where those horses are today. Lol

  • Incredible footage. Thanks for posting it.imagine how they felt , being the number one act in the world. What a rush

  • I wonder if that kid with the 8mm camera still has that film? The one who almost got the horses behind. Does anyone know?

  • my heart stopped when i saw paul ^^ and his doe eyes <33

  • haha george..."Hi girls." at 1:03

  • @gochisox4696 actually that was paul that said that :) george had the flu

  • There isn't much new anymore - the Beatles did it all first.

  • poor George, it looks, like he gets arrested :(

but it's a cool video anyway, thanks a lot for uploading this =)

  • lol they are chasing them by horse

  • anything about jonas bros sucks

  • great video, I'm spreading my music with animations.

  • To an America still reeling from the death of President Kennedy shortly before, the Beatles were a complete and utter antidote. Suddenly everything changed, the world turned into colour, the sixties ignited with a flash of fun and excitement which will never be seen again. The Jonas Brothers...it makes me laugh, man

  • eat THAT jonas brothers, want some fries with that shake? (sorry a little hyper)

  • Haha. Hi Girls!

Can't take those girls serious a 0:58. they look so silly, hehehe

  • "How're we gonna get in then?" God I love John's voice Dx

    "Hi girls." xDDD

    "Look at em all.."

  • hehehee, "hi, girls." "Look at em all!" what did they expect?

  • Lol Paul, "Hi girls."

  • Must have been George filming.

  • No, the description says he had the flu, so he was placed in another limo.

  • "lock the doors." BAF! XDXDXD

  • Yeah, the doors were probably locked.

However, if I were in the car, I would probably open the door and invite the girls inside!

  • the guys who did this film made it look like they pulled up to the hotel, but as anyone who's seen david letterman, you can see they pull up to the ed sullivan theatre.

  • @Sixtiesfreak First it's the Ed Sullivan, but then it's the Plaza -- you can tell from the covered entrance.

  • great video

  • they are adorable!

  • Who was shoting the movie?

  • I love how the girls just fling themselves at the car and star screaming. xD

  • not much george = (

  • 1:04 "Hi girls" :D rofl and ringos laugh is so sweet :D

haha :9 they are funny guys :)

    i love them all :)

  • O.o wow.... I am S-O jelous of those girls by the car.....

but of course i would be in the other window looking at John

    X3

    xoxo

  • where did you get this clip?

  • See this is the only reason why The Jonas Brothers are being compared to these guys, it's because how crazy the fangirls are. I love both bands though lol Ringo was soooo adorable! I laughed when the girls were all around the car and Paul was like "Hi girls!" XD Love these guys so much!

  • Jonas Brothers fans are NOTHING compared to Beatles fans. Beatles fans would not only scream, but faint, jump on cars, camp outside hotels overnight, pound their fists on the ground, pull their hair out, and go completely mental.

  • My point exactly. I have no idea why their fans are compared. We're talking mass hysteria with Beatles fans. Their fans were going crazy for them before they even came to America!

  • I think there compared because of it being a band of guys and such. Though I hate when people compare JB to The Beatles because there nothing alike in any way. Being a fan of both bands and knowing as much info as I can I haven't found one thing you can compare JB with Beatles. Though the JB 3D Movie does have a begining sequence simillar to A Hard Days Night. I think my fellow Jonas fans are gonna hate me because I don't consider JB one of the best bands in the world.

  • Going off of what you said about the AHDN opening sequence- that's one of the reasons we Beatles fans hate the Jonas Brothers. They're trying to copy everything about the Beatles whether it's the opening to their movie of covering Beatles songs. It's just wrong. I wouldn't have such an issue with them covering "Hello Goodbye" if stupid fangirls didn't think the Jonas Brothers wrote it. I was talking to a friend of mine who said she knows someone who didn't know John and Paul wrote it.

  • Well I do get kinda mad aswell when JB fans think JB wrote the song 'Hello Goodbye' and think JB's version is better. JB only made it a little more tempoish and I kinda like how they remade it a litte but actually they didn't want to cover that song since the Beatles are there idols but Target told them to for a commercial so like yeah. And actually JB never seen AHDN until after they made there movie.

  • Maybe that's why a bunch of Beatles fans stormed Target headquarters and made them stop showing that commercial. As far as them not seeing AHDN, I'll bet the director and such people saw AHDN and got the idea from it. It happened with the Monkees- the whole band is based off AHDN. People will do anything to make a buck, even rip off the Beatles. It's really sad.

  • @beatlequeen06 What did they do in the opening of their movie??

  • What did who do in the opening of whose movie? Please specify, lol.

  • @beatlequeen06 'They're trying to copy everything about the Beatles whether it's the opening to their movie of covering Beatles songs.'

    The Jonas Brothers.

  • Oh, right. Duh, lol. I had seen something on TV showing those little brats running from their fans just like the Beatles do in the beginning of A Hard Day's Night. It's pathetic that they have to copy one of the most famous bands in the world just to get noticed.

  • @beatlequeen06 OH, DEAR. :/

  • Exactly.

  • @beatlequeen06 And apparently have orgasms, too. :/

  • Yes, I've heard that as well. Doesn't really surprise me.

  • @beatlequeen06 yaa lol thats because most Beatles fans are into their teens, most Jonas Brothers fan their either still tweens or kids. Only some of them are teens.

  • @sasukeluver345 yeah we need a more mature band....

  • @beatlequeen06 And let's not forget, kill one of them.

  • @Bellantoni Um, no. The cocksucker that killed John was NOT a fan. He was just a fucked-in-the-head douchebag who thought he was a character in a book.

  • @beatlequeen06 100% correct!!!

  • @beatlequeen06 i only listen to the beatles and im not even 13 but they do that for every band

  • I wonder if any of the women who were screaming fans back in the day are watching this now thinking man I was sure one crazy fan.

  • "how are we gonna get in there?" lol ringo

  • The horse is dancing to the music at 1:50

  • Wow. Pretty sick, i wish i was there dang

  • Crazy!

  • WOW!

  • The Beatles couldn't even leave the front doors of their houses without having fans pile on them. They were told that if they were caught they'd be pulled over, scalped, stripped or trampled on.

Once they were in a hotel and the hysteria outside was so immense that the windows of the hotel broke and smashed and the girls all fell through, landing on all the glass.

  • thanks for sharing!

  • This is great. Thx for posting! I love seeing how The Beatles react to the fans -- WE ALL KNOW how fans reacted to them!

  • at first when i saw the police escorting them to their car, i thought "gee do they really need a police escort to their car?" but then I see those girls (my god!) running and screaming and trying to break through the barracades, i def. re-thought what i had said before!
