This a video to show how we treat people who are homless..It's sad really becuase of these people ar put on the streetbecuse there home was lost from a natural disastor, domestic violence or mental ilness forced them to go to the streets.

I live in Australia where the homeless only exist by choice because the government feeds and houses all others. I think America in particular should adopt similar policies and this video is great because more awareness is needed to make this happen.

I hear many people say about transients, get a job. How does someone in these straits get an interview? They cannot even put an address or phone# on the application. We don`t know their physical limits, mental or other. We need some programs that can get the capable cleaned up, clothed and transportation so they can actualy employ themselves. We also need people to go out and inform them of the programs. No reason for homelessness, especially Vets no matter their condition, in THIS country.

We are all human beings with the same hopes and dreams...A good job, ability to pay the bills, have a home, live in a safe environment, breathe clean air, have affordable health care, and to live beside each other with respect and dignity. So true. Most people are one check away from bankruptcy. Their 401k`s are worth what they whipe themselves with. Usualy, layoffs and outsourcing is a bomb that is dropped without warning and little more than 2 weeks to take action. This trend has effected my family 6 times in the last 15 years. IRS has no mercy if you tap into your 401 which is a burden. Their interest rates are crimminal and needs to be halted to help stablise our economy! If this keeps up, there will be boats going TO Cuba!

I guess there is a bright side. I wouldn`t last 6 months there without ending up in the pokie! They don`t like outspoken people. BTW, it is still cheaper to NOT use insurance for office visits and outpatient sergury. There is no such thing as health insurance. That is just what it is called. I think it is a make work program for paper pushers, lawyers and collection agencies. What is co-pay for anyway? Or premiums? You either have coverage or not. You pay up front. Beaurocracy & hoops.

Well, it kinda works like car insurance. What happens if you require major surgery? I don't have that kind of money to have this type of medical help...Even a colonoscopy is almost 5 grand a piece and we both are supposed to have one! Then what if we need surgery? Penny wise, pound foolish? Not!

It is never a good idea to not have coverage. I was not suggesting so. Even health geeks get Cancer and AID`s, genetic or otherwise. The Buearocracy and hoops the "customer" has to go thru to be or get well is unacceptable. The paperwork and phone tag is a burden. Fighting claims is another stressful eliment. This is NOT insurance! It is CYA!

Can you actually justify 5k for such a simple, routine procedure? Even with on the spot zapping? Such a routine procedure covering all staff monitoring, probably interns should not cost more than $500 given time involved let alone 5K. Billing insurance is why this happens. It takes the doctor forever to get payed after they are done jerking you around. Then YOU may have to sue your provider if they decline to pay if the paperwork is not dead on. You will be declined coverage.
