and its the worst internet connection ive ever had even my connection from 200m is better.

at some points i couldnt even open the google homepage. NOT recomended.

Most of the staff are incapable and canot sort your problem if your if your internet goes down these guys went off line for 4 day and offered me 3 pounds compensation

With the worst customer service in the UK, the poorest speeds, the most disatissfied customers, do yourself a favour everyone and avoid 3 and choose a reputable network instead.

Search the net for reviews and you'll soon see I'm right. And don't forget to have a giggle at the reviews written by 3 employees praising them to the hilt. They're so nauseating they're actually funny.

3 mobile broadband is a complete rip off and useless. Mine usually craps out every 20min no matter how many replacements i get sent inc sim car, whos computer its connected to...it just stuffs up. Full coverage yet crashs and when i unplug it and reconnect it it works again. Stuff 3, i cant be arsed with them, my mates cant and overall there service is pathetic all round. Also there usage history is a scam, it says 1gig is used so stops yet the data used isnt near 1gig. A scam and useless!

Try using it near a window. I get a two bar signal on my E1550. And try Vodafone E220 i get maximum speed of 2009kbps.

If you can get an Antenna for your USB then it will help a lot. Try Solwise or some other site. An antenna speeds things up reduces signal fluctuations. In addition, use Orbit Downloader, as some times it is quicker to download YouTube videos than just watch it. In addition, it cost the same to download as it does just to watch. My antenna and connection cables cost about £25. My signal went from 2/5 to 3/5 which makes downloads twice as quick.

The E220 modem is slower than the slimmer 1's because it's an older model. The slim 1's have a maximum speed of 3.6mbps, the E220 has a smaller capacity

If ur using a long USB extension cable then it's usually doesn't work. Either plug ur dongle into ur PC or use the USB cable which came with it. If ur on Pay as you go then i've noticed it's faulty however monthly payment is better. If u got an old donlgle they don't work well so u may have 2 get a new 1. If this don't work just get 3G router!

I think 3 mobile broadband is quite good when i watched these videos before i got mine i thought that you couldnt connect to the internet straight away after installing the modem but you can! But as soon as i downloaded msn it took my 10 pound add on off straight away i don't know why it did that maybe it was because i downloaded the msn or maybe it just takes it off for the 30 day internet.

if you live in a blind spot of the network it will be very slow be warned i found out the hard way. 90 mins on fone to 3 and they confirmed this blind spot is a problem.

yup i live across the street from a 3g hsdpa enabled mast. and my 3gmobile broadband still comes and goes and is shit speed not at all like they advertise. wouldnt reccomend anyone to use it

There are probably software applications that would allow you to turn a pc with wifi card and internet dongle into an access point. Also, check out the Draytek routers that you can use with an internet dongle - google "portable internet hotspot" and there's an article on myhotspots which explains more.
