  • game audio... its so loud

  • @MegaBoris1994 Rewatching this more than two years after I recorded, Ya.... I kinda was still getting familiar with the whole editing thing at this point. :X

  • nice LP i am watching them all.

  • heh, they used the hands down best sonic tune in the first stage.. musically unless they impress on later levels with some nice surprises, it wont be much since i need my nerdytunes!

  • Hey their coming out with a new srb2 version just letting you know

  • when you say that was pretty stupid of you, the fail music played

  • nice lets play. i downloaded the game, but i think i need something else for it to work. how did you get sonic megamix to work?

  • i like milkshakes

  • nintendocaprisun is way past cool! XD

  • Sweet man. I am a die-hard sonic fan too. My SEGA Genisis broke long ago, and I'm going to get a new one. SONIC RULES

  • i know dude my first video not using a camera it was messed up with fraps

  • @silverfireflash This game? It's a hack, so it's free. If you look up Sonic Megamix on Google, you should be able to find it. Than just boot up your Sega CD Emu and give it a whirl.

  • to ClassicTeam: ROMs are free anyways, aren't they?

  • @jruler93 Yes, although a good majority of ROMs avalable on the internet are "illegal". You see, The Digital Millennium Copyright Act allows you to have a back-up copy of SOMETHING YOU OWN. The problem is, does this mean, it has to be a back-up of your own, personal copy? Or can it be someone else's that has the same content? It's really a gray area. My view on it: If you own it, you can emulate it. Additionally, if you own Sonic 1, you should be able to download hacks of Sonic 1 too.

  • @silverfireflash Actually, the $300 would have been for Camtasia, so I could record the game footage.

  • @ClassicTeam You realize Kega Fusion has .AVI creation, right?

  • @Dant2142 Well, now I do. :P

I used Gens for this LP and I've only use Kega to play a few Game Gear games in the past, so I'm not that familiar with it. Thanks for the tip though, it may prove useful in the future. :)

  • @ClassicTeam You should really consider using Kega for Gen/SCD games too, never ran into an emulation problem and the sound is perfect. Also the other features like, being able to play a legit Sega CD game straight from the original disk, are awesome.

  • oi, i can't get it. I get some .rar file with something saying that "there are wolves after me"

  • You have to open the RAR file and extract the ISO file inside of it. than you have to set up the BIOs in the emulator settings and than your good to go. :)

  • where can i play this at

  • It's godda be emulated... you can download the game at the link in the description, at the bottom of the page. Than you'll need an emulator like Gens to run it in. Than, you need the Sega CD BIOs files. Once you have all that stuff, you godda set it up. Open Gens and click on the Option > Bios/Mic. Files Tabs. than redirect each BIOs file to it's country. Than go to File > Open Rom and open up Sonic Megamix. DONE!

  • this game looks freakin awesome. i guess u could say im "almost" a hard core sonic fan (almost cuz i havent played every single one) but this is awesome.. btw, the sound quality of ur speech was rly good .what program were u using to record ur voice?

  • The first 3 parts are recorded using Camtasia Studio. :)

  • oh cool, how / where can i get that?

  • Well, it's by TechSmith Studio.. you can look them up. But the program is very expensive, $300 or something like that. I used the trial version of it up until part 4, when I bought FRAPs and used that. :)

  • Sonic Megamix is amazing.

  • You can say that again. :)

  • This fangame looks worthy of being Sonic 4. Awesome job Megamix team!

  • Dude! this is tight. I can recognize all the songs and the animations. I can tell it's Sonic's first game, Mainly anyway. The song you used for the first stage is from Sonic 3's 2player vs. and the song you used in the special stage is Sky Sanctuary also in Sonic 3. Awesome dude. I'm definietly going to try it especially cause I'm a Huge Sonic fan myself. My profile doesn't show that I am though. =(

  • Hmmm... Im gonna have to try that game :P

  • A link has been added to the description for anyone who wants to try for themselves. ;)

  • Also, Sonic isn't speed or platforming, its a first person shooter...jk

    But its a Dprrf platformer

  • Your doing better than I would, even if that doesn't say much.

  • first comment wooh
