A girl enrolls into the boys side of a prestigious private school, specifically to see if her mom would even notice. While there her male ego Jake becomes friends with Hamilton and they fall for each other and she has to explain to him that she is actually a girl. From that point they continue sneaking around with the secret.

Hamilton felt a great attraction to Jake/Jacqueline but he couldn't understand why and he fought it so much as he could, he did'nt want to be gay and at the time and place where the story takes place it is supposed to be a great taboo. He finally decides to face his feelings and go for it, you might say it's very courageous, thus he is rewarded to discover that Jake is in fact a girl and thus corresponds to his real sexual orientation.
