Kodak EASYSHARE M1093 IS Digital Camera

I just recieved my camera z981 today, and when i turned it on, part of the outside lense obscured the shot. you can see the roundness of the lens on part of the left side of the screen. it shows in both the viewfinder and the screen, and it shows up on the pictures too. is there any way to fix this, or do i have to return it?

LOL the 1st & last thing I ever bought from Kodak was an "Advantix" pocket film camera. That was back in 1999 or so.

After 3 days of just carefully carrying in its soft original case, I took it out to take a pic & saw all the writings/symbols were rubbed away from the buttons.

The rest worked just enough to shoot one film. Then I had a brand new camera with no button explanation texts (looked like a prototype LOL) that failed to load a new film.

Never ever bought anything a Kodak again :P

OH and night videon lanscape works freaken great!!!! Just make sure to set it down on sturdy spot and use the timer before shooting. This will allow for blurr free picture. It can litterally see in the dark. Well really dark parks etc.

Some 411: You do not use the charging port ( round port ) at all. It charges battery while you are connected to USB either when uploading or with included USB power supply and cord.

I only had it for one day but battery meter showed up when I started it and after full charge it is gone. I could not find setting for it. I wonder if it only appears when it is starting to get low? long shot but that is what I am thinking.

hey its alrright i tried it at my freind house cause i took a video of us powning some nubes on halo 3 lol and the picture was pretty clear but like with all cameras you still got those lines that run through the screen but if u got it at the right angle they wont show up

I just got one, all is good, except the sound when taking video is really crappy, especially when recording in loud places...i never had that problem with my other camera...the sound gets distorted and it gets really low...really frustratiing...you get awesome hd video with crappy sound...luckily, i got it as a present.

Install kodak easy share CD software and then set up an account. You can then copy and past video onto your PC. All will work fine then.

The only thing that make me angry is just small things Kodak could make in this camera, but big result. I'm talking about update some features like Disable option for front RF light, turn on during charging, HD cable (not the high price dock), close the lens during play mode... small things , but really big!! M1093 IS has no optical IS!! want to buy a compact hd camera with optical stabilise and good for video in low light like v1273, which one you advise me??
