Honestly the idea for the sound of the song is thought of a lot, quiet, then a sudden kick ass explosion. Yes it does sound like New Born, maybe they were just idolizing them. Much like when an artist takes a style of drawing and uses it for their own. Or in the instance of the Red Hot Chili Peppers; I heard an interview where they were talking about how if they liked a song they took the style of it and did it again, making it more popular and wide known. If there going to make a second season, they should remove meaningless ecchi and just keep the comedy ecchi (if you read further in the manga beyond the anime, you'll see what I mean)
