  • Boxed wine is also better than canned wine. ;o)

  • ima show her how to cook first never add the tomato when the beef is red it wont cook right u let the deef fully cook when is vrown u add the tomato n jalepeno u make a dog food in there omg nasty u eating uncook beef

  • @w3r0ification I don't think you understand how science works. Thanks for writing anyway!

  • @hilahcooking no im not talking shit is just true when u put the tomato to the beef n it was still red i was like wtf lol we all cook different but red beef is bad n it doesnt fully cook when u add the tomato u have to let the beef get brown so u make sure u dont eat the beef uncook specially if u add bean n tomato in the end u wont see the red beef coz is all mix thats why u have to make sure to fully cook it first ;)

  • @w3r0ification I have to agree. I am good at science and even when you add uncooked meatballs to tomato sauce for spag. they come out tasting like cat or dog food.

  • your cool, best cooking video I ever saw.

  • STAY IN THE KITCHEN!

  • like this too

i need see u making an spanish omelette that would be AWESOME

    SPAIN needs more hilah

  • @LHRT229 Ohhh, I love Frito pie so MUCH!

  • Ok, Soo.. I know I am Oklahoman, and Texans don't put beans in their Chili... So I am trying this recipe right now after getting home from my local tavern.. I am going to use the optional choice of Stew Meat, and will reply afterwards! Thanks for the recipe!! Anxious to try it out!

  • @Startruth144 awesome! Can't wait to hear how it goes!

  • hmmm less poisen in the box... interesting theory :)

  • Yum Yum.......Makes me want some.

  • Fantastic! I followed Hilahs recipe exactly using fresh tomatos, 4 jalapenos, 1 lb 85/15 ground round keeping it chunky & draining the fat it came super tender. I suggest using Spice Island brand chili powder; its more flavorful & was rated best by Cooks Illustrated. I didn't ad the tortilla because it thickened enough on its own after 1.5 hrs cooking. Only change I would make next time would be to reduce salt to 1/2 tsp because the chili powder itself & the tomato sauce contains adequate salt.

  • @CaboWabotv Great! Thank you so much for the follow-up comment! I always buy unsalted chili powder and tomato sauce - I should have specified. Glad you liked it!

  • She's got it all... she's pretty (gorgeous actually), funny, smart and she can cook. She's gonna make some guy really happy!

  • @MikeBDD Thanks, Mike! :)

  • Why does her accent go back and forth from redneck texan trash to valley girl? lulz at drinking the beer like its a shot.

  • Metal spoon in non-stick pan? I wont watch any further. The flinging of the toothpick arms at the start was weird enough. stupid texans...

  • @theforgottenorg No non-stick anything, anywhere in my kitchen or any of my videos. Stupid idiot.

  • Looks good. I like a spicy hearty chili. I brown and drain the meat and use more sauce, but yours looks good !

Ever put chili over pasta? Try wagon wheel pasta with shredded cheese on top and few drops of Luisiana hot sauce.

    Subbed, good videos.

  • @StowAlex Hell yeah! Chili-mac! Thanks for subbing!

  • your hilarious! SUBED!!! keep up the humor and ill keep watching!

  • @TheInfoiskey No worries! I couldn't turn this humor off for my life! ;)

  • That's a very pretty dress to be cooking chili in...

  • @tsdcX Thank you!

  • Tried making your Dad's chili today, Awesome chili! It rocks!!!!

  • @woodtick09 YAY! It does, right? I'm so happy you tried it!

  • Hi. Looks really great...those large sliced chili's will probably send me to the hospital...but I don't care...as long as it's good goin' down. Yum!

  • "i'm gonna cut this shit up now" lol love a girl with a dirty mouth

  • Howwdeeee!!! Ya'll made some nice chili..mmmm mmm

  • ...here they tell us, the uncoated cans combined with acidic ingredients may be "unfavorable" but nothing really to worry about.

The boxes have plastic coating inside too, so there is no escape ;-)

fresh tomatoes, onion, garlic and spices... when it comes to Chili, your Dad

    (and you) know the deal!

btw. i'm proud "the spoon" was used in a true Texas recipe ;-)

    Joe

  • Looks like a perfectly basic, easy, and awesome chili. You make me wonder why I tend to complicate things so much. Gotta do this, and I have the ingredients except for the Fritos. I'll fix that tomorrow.

  • @anmoose Keep it simple is the only way to do it! PS Fritos are the shit.

  • Some damn fine chili right there

  • @DicksGrill Seriously fine.

  • if its in a box theres less poison in it LOL!!!!!

  • are the hot as shits still together

  • @vandos11 Yeah, we just had practice last night!

  • THAT was easy! I'll be making that soon... and your lasagna! ; P ' ' ' ' '

  • @Pippilly Good! Let me know how it goes, Pip!

  • That chili looks great! If you needed any help getting rid of some of that, I'd certainly volunteer.

I totally love watching your vids, Hilah. Love your attitude! "Huge ass onion... buttload of garlic?" Such awesome units of measurement.

  • @regisor94 Thanks, dude! I'll keep that in mind for next time, but it's all been got rid of already! ;)

  • Looks like a tasty recipe. Sometimes I like to add the beer to the chili to give it some initial moisture, then take the lid off later and let it cook down into thickly thickness as it simmers. As always thanks for the cool videos

  • @residualkarma That's a great idea, too. We did that with the vegan chili recipe, but it works for any chili!

  • 1:38 Hugh Jass Onion? Is that a new variety? PS - Nice meat tube.

  • that looks incredible

  • I worked in a canned food factory for a short time 10 years ago and I was explained how the process of canning foods work and its very sanitary and safe. The only thing to watch is the ingredients and make sure not to drop the lid in the food cause that can be dirty.

  • @PlatypusGuitar It's not that it's dirty. It's the plastic lining used in many canned foods.

  • Is that meet in a tube as good as ground meat in the usual packaging?

  • @Wyclefdoug It's the same.

  • I have not seen you for a while and I see something has changed, your kitchen looks so hot!!! Specially for the Jalapeños...

  • I have not seen you for a while and I see something has changed, your kitchen looks so hot!!!

  • Oh sweet jesus. This is perfect for snow days. WIIIIINNNNN.

  • @diabeticdoode Hellz yeah, dood.

  • Hilah, my husband said you made his day you add his favorite ingredient Fritos..LOL..he also liked the fat ass onion and the beer too....great job.

    God bless,

    Elba

  • @elbacooks4u Ahaha! Fritos are so good! Thanks, Elba!

  • fritos and chili and cheese....the Holy Trinity, i think.....

  • @deffcat I'd agree with that :)

  • I swear girl, there is something so incredibly hot about a Texas sweety saying the S word! Anyway, the only addition to that chili, I would throw in a cup of leftover coffee from the morning and a shot of good tequila. I'm talkin layers of flavor baby!

  • @dburns163 Mmm, kinda like redeye gravy!

  • The audio is mono on this

  • Mmm! You look niiiice... those red and black colors look good on you Hilah. :)

The chili looks good too! I haven't had any in a while, and now I want some!

  • I am definitely gonna try this one....I didn't comment on the meatless lasagna, cause I can't imagine it without ,and I didn't want you to think I was dissin' on my favorite YouTube chick !!!!...Can't expect to please everyone all the time.....I still love ya, just so ya know !!!!! LOL....A big CHEERS fom Capt. John

  • @cisjohn2616 Alright, Cap'n! Happy to please you this time!

  • @americanbadassmofo No problemo, amigo! ;)

  • Wow if you try certain different make up then you'll look 99% Gweneth Peltrow seriously.

  • Good job, cheers!

  • Yay, keep on adding the text on the ingredients so I can google translate it :D and when you put the scissors away i roflshilmsadmt litterally :) Loving the chilli, hoping I can stand the HEAT FACTOR!!!!

  • @ShadowNam275 It isn't THAT hot! Kinda depends on your chili powder and jalapenos but I'm guessing in Norway...they are not so hot as here? Also, don't you know the ingredients are always on the website!?! Go look at it sometime and make me happy. :)

  • @hilahcooking Lol, it's too bad I live in the middle of nowhere too, never seen a chilli here, but I'm searching! I know the ingredients are on the website, but it's so much easier to just watch it on the video. I'm on your website all the time, don't worry lol :)

  • Looks really good..even at 5:30am! Chili for breakfast anyone??...lol

  • @da959 One time my dad was taking me to the airport at like 6 am and we stopped at Waffle House and he did order chili for breakfast.

  • how hot is this chili? it looks so good, but i'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to the heat factor... ps: love the dress! =)

  • @JustNess78 It's not real hot. It's warm. You would always use fewer jalapenos. I used 3 big ones for that, but try it with one or two!

  • Chili is one of my favorite foods. Now I'm hungry. Great...its 2am and there is no chili! LOL. Nice video by the way :)

  • what is with the meat in a tube it is a American thing?

  • @Jack14112 I was just wondering that too :O

  • @Jack14112 Lol, we have ''meat in a tube'' in Norway too :)

  • @ShadowNam275 lol :]

  • That looks fantastic. Do you like chili with beans or prefer it without?

  • @fitzgeraldmw beans in chili is sacrilegious.

  • @jamieclark420 Chili WITHOUT beans is utter nonsense!

  • @fitzgeraldmw Ain't no beans in mah chili!

  • stop making me so hungry!!!!

  • @WhatIfShow That is my JOB! :)

  • that dress works for you like a sweat shop worker!

  • @boogiechillen123 Oh dear...:)

  • you look so cute today!

  • @dondonmofo99 Thank you! :)

  • Bout time you get back on the meat wagon!! That looks good right there, what's this your saying about canned maters?

  • @pandmonium2k7 The plastic they use to line cans still has Bisphenol-A in it (BPA), which maybe you heard about how they reworked all the baby bottles and shit that used it because it ain't no good for ingestion. Now a lot of plastic products will say "BPA-free" if you look. But not the can linings! Sonofa--

  • @hilahcooking

Interesting! So anything in a can would have that in it pretty much? Maybe I should bury my head back in the sand lol. What I dont know cant hurt me right? ;)

  • @pandmonium2k7 Yeah, but more acidic things like tomatoes supposedly leach out more BPA. I dunno - I don't make myself crazy worrying over it. I imagine that sometime soon the FDA will step in, right? Right....

  • @hilahcooking

I just looked it up and Canada has declared it a toxic substance but we are ok with it lol

Pretty wild side effects, if they are true.

  • @pandmonium2k7 Seriously?! Oh man, our FDA is a joke.

  • @hilahcooking

Yes well quit starting shit lol I am over worrying about this killing me,hell there's a million other things that will too. I thought your good cooking was all that would kill me.

  • wooh-DOGGY!

  • Best time of the week commes around and Hilah is in the kitchen again.... that chili reciope looks mighty tasty ,especially up here in the frigid plains of Kansas....

  • @granola412 I can only imagine what it's like up there! It's literally freezing in Texas!

  • @hilahcooking

It's 4 degrees F. i think maybe a "Snow shoe" (wild turkey and peppermint schnapps) would go good with the cold and snow.

  • This recipe is not for me, but YOU are! Hilah! Be my valentine!

  • @elvnears Awww, shucks! Okay! :)

  • No bean chili... Cool!!

  • Om nom nom nom ... I'm on Team Meat!

  • Yum...

  • . . . . Now I'm hungry.

  • YAYYYY! NO FREAKIN' DISGUSTING BEANS! No water either. You are the best!

My chili starts out dry as well. Sometimes I use a can of enchilada sauce as a chili starter.

  • @ZombiedustXXX Hmm, that's a good idea if you're out of chili powder. I'll remember that one!

  • wait now I am confused. Isn't Chili made with beans ? or am I in a totally different ballpark?

  • @meks040 chili is made with chili.

  • @meks040 There is a time and place for beans: if you're a Yankee or vegan. Texas chili sure as $h!t ain't got no beans, though!

  • that chili looks awesome..great video..nice outfit and i love the way you used the jalapeno pepper...thumbs up on this video!!!!
