Man, I love Lou Barlow, but Jason Lowenstein? That guy is a genius. Lou's songs are great, as are Eric's. But Jason's song? Fucking amazing, they are.

@capacitor26 : what like Cold War Kids and Silver Sun Pickups? yeah they're bland, redundant, and they're only rehashing riffs that have been heard a million times before. these guys on the other hand....were innovative and catchy as fuck. plus, lou barlow is lyrically powerful. he's honest.

This is not just "another massachusetts indie rock band", lou barlow is (in my opinion) one of the best song writers to ever walk the earth. He is also an amazing, original, bass player and is incredible to watch live.
