no it is not. the things the you un-check are things that just start up when u start the computer. if you wanted you could un check the anti virus but i recommend you dont.

Yeah i know that, and yes it does make ur comp. boot up quicker. if you use Regedit then u would have to know what a lot of the code names are or go to google and serch them up. i chose this one cuz it's easy and satisfying. so dont get ur panties up in a bunch cuz i didnt use the one u wanted

also, you can make your background blank, that speeds it up by about 3-8 seconds.

good video. i only load my antivirus msn and it takes 8 seconds i also disable the windows loading screen saves me about 2 seconds :P
run msconfig go on the boot.ini tab and check NOGUIBOOT
