  • This song make me cry....

  • My favorite love song. Nobody sings it better.

  • This song rivals Imagine by John Lennon as the greatest song written by an individual Beatle on his solo work.

  • Simply Amazing! No more comments. Thanks for posting it.

  • saw McCartney in Kansas City, best concert of my entire LIFE

  • @LeLoupDriveIn I saw him in Charlotte NC last year... freaking great

  • This is the best song Paul ever wrote and performed live

  • @flakbac He's the same dirtbag that...that....can we just shoot him?

  • paul shows off his 'perfect pitch' -he is amazing with pitch, there is no doubt. today, he sounds older, but that is because he does stretch his voice.

  • 1:14

  • what happened to these artists, ones that were good on studio and live nothing better than john mellencamp, bob seger, paul mccartney and bon jovi and bee jees

  • flakbac is the reason there are wars

  • Pauls voice have gotten more groggy and mature, but this is soo good!!

  • @flakbac

Says the guy who took the time to watch and post a comment. Whatever you have to tell yourself.....

  • @flakbac What country do you hale from? Go post somewhere else, please. You don't know jack****, Jack.

  • 1:32 makes me melt...

    Paul will live forever<3

  • James Durbin 's attempt at this song on American Idol was at least an honorable mention attempt,in my opinion it was a tad better in some respects probably due to today's techno ability but paul is the KING.

  • only paul mccartney can make a mullet sexy <3

  • @RonniLane word ^

  • perfect... My favorite song

  • Must be that I've dropped my iPhone a few too many times. Paul sounds like he is catterwalling (sp?) here. :-/

  • damn, i wish i was there. alas, i wasnt even born yet! :( hate my era..

  • Stop dragging the fucking song drummer..... damn...

  • Nobody today even comes close to McCartney musical/singing powers. They try to overemphasize every word in a song. With Paul you can really hear the words come from within his soul.

  • 11 people mistook this video with a Rebbeca Black one while having a bad LSD trip

  • paul mcartmney is amazed

  • the sound quality is quite good you hear the deep bass and high highs

  • better than the studio version

  • This guy has been performing since the 1960's.. 50 years of touring and performing and still going strong.. I hope that i could watch Paul live before he calls it quits.

  • Paul MCartney at his finest!!!!!!!!!!

  • We made a cover...check it out my channel !

    Thanx !

  • The very best. Thanks YOU!!

  • Best post beatles song by far in my opinion.. Best McCartney post beatles tune. Great song.

  • Is it me or does the sound in this video sound perfect??im shocked'cause it's a concert

  • @TheMelissabf

I completely agree. One of the super rare instances where the live performance sounds smoother than the studio.

  • @IOYB a lot of pauls work sounds better live, the fireman songs are like that, I still would say I like the studio version of this song more, except for the drums on it, Im not a big fan of pauls drumming in some songs.

  • @yourtwistedable

I agree, the drumming could get excessive. That being said, If I could combine the drumming of the studio with the singing of the live concert, it'd sound even better to me.

  • @IOYB I always thought that too, but not combining because that sounds difficult, but putting the live version drums on the studio, or maybe just any drums.

  • @yourtwistedable

I've always felt the studio version of this song, particularly Paul when he heightens his voice, sounds somewhat forced. I dunno. It's a classic, nonetheless :)

  • paul is so genius and awesome

  • omg...... the love ....

  • Dumb karaoke machines don't have one of the most awesome love songs ever composed.

  • was that John Lennon at 1:52?!?

  • @MultiBigAndy No, but it sure looks like him!

  • Even as a straight man, its hard to deny that paul is a handsome motherfucker

  • I just never get tired of this man!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I love both the composition and his singing.

  • Would love to meet Paul!

  • that was one hell of a mullet!

  • An absolute genious!

  • How fantastic version it is!

I'd like to see the show if I could back to the 70s.

  • @shunny420 I saw him do this in May, 1976 in Atlanta! Fanfreakintastic! He still does a pretty killer version of the song today in concert.

  • I wish he could sing this song in the last shows.

  • 1970 Knockin' it out of the park

  • I'm going to see him at Comerica Park in a few weeks! Love you Paul, so so much!

  • @bladesofglory12 I'm seeing him in New York City in 2 weeks. I can't wait!

  • @CodyRedfield That's cool! What date? He's coming to Detroit July 24th...I heard he is the best -- apparently he plays three hour long shows with no breaks..

  • @bladesofglory12 July 16th. I am so excited for this. I have one of his live albums and if he's even half as good as he is in that album it's money well spent.

  • @CodyRedfield saw him at yankee stadium! unbelievable show! beyond words, I felt every emotion there is to feel. He is a genius! Joe

  • sometimes I feel as if us mere mortals cannot fully grasp the enormity of his talent. The voice, the musicality, the showmanship, the passion to perform, its too much to comprehend.

  • This guy is just fuckin great. I loved several songs by this band & yes I agree about shitty singers & autotune. If you can't sound good live, keep it in the shower.

  • So incredibly talented! I also have to point out that I'm the 333,555 viewer. Such a peculiar number! I feel special.

  • ..and this is it..yep..this is the song of the moment..

  • love the guitar solo

  • best wings song ever!!!! :-)

  • How is it possible not to love this. Thanks Paul, just for existing, and making the world I better place!!!! Love Paul so much......

  • I like this version more than the original.

  • @CTFxCFTW77 Me too!!!!!

  • I'm amazed at the way I really love you and I'm not afraid of the way I would love to love you! He is sooooooooo handsome here, isn't he? OMG! Yummy! lol

  • Macca and Wings hit #10 with the live version in Billboard, 4-2-77. God bless ya, BeatlesFan, for postin' it. Thanx! RIP, the Lovely Linda.

  • @DaveWollenberg You're welcome and thanks, well said. God bless you too.

  • @DaveWollenberg only #10? horseshit! What beats that?

  • @NYYTeixecute09 9 songs better than that, I guess!

  • Hey everybody, I'd like to invite you all to come and see my cover of this music at /carollancelloti ! It's a cover competition! The winner is who has more ' likes '. Cheers from Brazil

  • ILHSM

  • Paul KICKS ASS..... AWESOME!!

  • definitely i'm amazed

  • 10 people are full of stupidity

  • maybe i'm amazed why i love this song so much! :)

  • ahh 1976, when everyone was on LSD :D

  • I was at this concert. It was June 10, 1976, and was the first concert ever held at the Kingdome in Seattle. It was also the first time Paul McCartney had sung on tour in the U.S. since 1966, the year of the Beatles' last tour.

THIS CONCERT WAS AMAZING! Acoustics in the Kingdome sucked, but the sound engineers at this show did a great job, and McCartney and his band went above and beyond expectation.

  • I think autotune is fabulous corringreen. It's a tool, an addition. The people that use autotune more frequently are perhaps the people who like it most. I personally love autotune and love using it in recordings. It sounds of high elegance to my ears. So quit saying people NEED autotune. It isn't a matter of needing, it's preference.

  • @hhfan21 only people who need it would say that my friend.

  • @TheBruce1314 Absolutely not true. You're ridiculous if you believe it's a necessity for a bad voice. What's really the case is that they like the metallic sound. They like the choppy chop-chop. They like the pitch leveling. They like the curve to it. It's a tool and addition. It has absolutely nothing to do with "MAKING the song sound great." It doesn't do that, the vocalist does. Electronic music and pop music is great, have you tried listening and not being a fucking dick about it?

  • @hhfan21 I agree, in a way, most people NEED autotone if they want to sell music though.

  • @Classicrockismylife9 I don't know. People tend to use it to improve their sound, but I'm not sure if they're doing it because they actually believe they suck. I think it helps as a tool. That's all.

  • @hhfan21 not true if you use it in every single song you sing ;P

  • @AarynMusic The rules apply all the same. It's a tool just like a sword or a music instrument such as a piano. You generally use those all the time, right? Duh.

  • @hhfan21 Nope, it's not a sword and certainly not an instrument, it's a recording function that can serve 2 purposes:

    1. as an artistic license

    2. hides the singer's inability to sing

  • brutal. que voz más espectacular

  • AHHH the'70's

  • Como puede a 10 personas disgustarle esto???

    sin duda son tarados jonasticos

  • i love you paul<3

  • hate macca love wings

  • fuck to those 8 mother fucker!!!!1

  • D; so sad

  • Wooooo seattle

  • i wish i was linda... well not the cancer part, but you know....

  • Thanks for posting this Paul McCartney classic. The sheet music for the original piano part on "Maybe I'm Amazed" can be found at manymidi.com/sheetmusic.htm - a note-for-note transcription.

  • @ElmoPiano You're welcome, and thanks I shall check it out sometime. :-)

  • @truemusic6 Not many people sound even better live than they do in studio. Paul is the greatest!

  • True talent lays with a pure voice. Check out Bryan Duncan re-doing this song. Awesome.....

  • RIP Linda <3

  • joe english (the drummer) gives this a way better feel than the studio version,

paul even starts a little fast, but joe has him in the pocket before the first verse ends

  • @amillionpictures Joe English was a awesome drummer very unrated in fact he was the ultimate pocket drummer I should know I use to play myself but serve COPD stopped me from playing back in 2001 I'm 58y/o now

  • This was the first concert in the Kingdome. Paul and his mate were amazing...

  • Paul had the most skilled voice of the four lads, and this song only shows it. His versatility stuns me to bits, and reminds me every time why this man was, and still is, my favorite. Long live Sir James Paul McCartney.

  • This is really what they call "Ear Orgasm".

Just amazing. Brilliantly and immaculately A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

  • Your NOT the number one BEATLES fan, I am.

  • 1:31 = aural orgasm.

Ridiculously amazing. Macca can't be human.

On a more immature note, press 2 repeatedly to see him attempt to blow his microphone XD

  • one of my all time favorite songs ever since i was a little kid....

  • Linda was so lucky! God, I would love for a man to write a song like this for me! Saw him do this a month earlier than this show (in Atlanta)

  • He is a genius..Sir Paul, Sir George, Sir John, Sir Ringo

  • @MrJgossey2002 sir john, an acid pushing communist.....you know we canadians have to deal with this monarchy crap, what did they do for us, ever?

  • @willmilano Listen up Quebecois frog, you are not worthy.

    Bonjour!

  • i got goosebumps :)

  • Paul is a genius and Linda is a beautiful extension of what he accomplished.

  • @stonefly123 well said my friend well said :)

  • I was at this show june 10th 1976 at the kingdome in seattle wa

  • @fatsamrocks Isn't Paul still cute now

  • the bassist switches basses like 3 times during the song. First he has a black one, then a sunburst one and then a yellowish one at the end.

  • I was there- it was an amazing concert- nothing else but fine baby!

  • I was there- it was an amazing concert- nothing else but fine baby

  • perfect voice...

  • Wow - Remember the days when singers didn't need autotune?

  • @corringreen marcus mumford autotunes?

  • @corringreen yeah I hate the idea of autotuning, singers who use autotuning have no talent.

  • @corringreen Remember the days when rock starts could actually sing is more like it.

  • faultless vocals - all round beautiful song

  • David Bowie and Paul McCartney were the only people to EVER look good with a mullet... Nobody else should ever try.

  • obviously 7 people out there that don't know real music

  • Jimmy McCulloch, guitarist with the SG. RIP... I think drugs.

McCartney is amazing . This isn't the version that was on Wings over America. That was done on this tour, but taped at Madison Square Garden.

  • No doubt an amazing tunesmith , musician , singer & personality BUT he has a knack of sounding a bit "too middle of the road".....more so in his Wings & solo periods. I think the imagery , versatility , experimentation & "uniqueness" of The Beatle yrs were somehow lost. Even though this is obviously an outstanding melody it's something I can see Elton John or someone of his ilk doing. Still Sir Paul is GREAT & a living icon of an era when music was REAL!!!

  • We are all amazed at the years the times these guys called the Beatles who shaped us as humans..our souls are filled with the music they made for their wives to ours..our kids will be saying wow..they rocked....!!!

  • I hope James Durbin wins simply because he picked this song on Idol night. Wings is the 2nd greatest band of all time and this song proves it. Plastic ono band is the greatest solo album ever, the Beatles together were greater than the parts . Unbelievable.

  • Thumbs up if James Durbin's performance made you search this song on youtube!!!

  • Maybe you're amazed, but you're amazing no doubt!

  • you say god, i say paul mccartney.

  • he is the BEST>>>! bar none this man is even more popular than god

  • Classic, timeless, one of the best love songs ever written by the master singer/songwriter. There will never be another like Sir Paul. So glad we still have him around. My fave Beatle :)

  • Maybe I'm a Mullet

  • listening to this again....Paul would be a great addition to any band....as a keyboard player alone!

  • PAUL MCCARTNEY IS THE BEST :DDD .... Now let's se him do a reunion tour with Ringo Star

  • ive heard this song before

  • who is the lead guitar player?

  • His music has definitely stood the test of time...love ALL of his songs!!! :D

  • Please Paul, do not ever leave this world, I love you and your music 4 ever.

  • there is something so pure about this man's music.

  • I'm pretty sure this is on the album "Wings Over America", their LIVE album...

  • I can listen to this till the day I die

  • where can i download this version? i think its much better than the studio version and i hear this one on the radio i like it alot more, please message me on here thank you

  • @Hughjass505

Have you found the download??? I'm looking for it too!

  • One of the best of all time....I'm always amazed!!

  • If i could write a song a tenth as good as this I could die feeling like I'd achieved something

  • shut up man-with-the-SG-that-I-don't-know-the-name-cuz-he-is-nothing-compared-to-Paul-or-the-other-Beatles.

  • 7 not??? Paul is love!! The Best forever!! From Argentina!

  • I can never be persuaded to believe that the album version is better than this live version. Amazing.

  • I totally agree!

  • Love the guitar player from Thunder Clap Newman...he's the man.

  • When I blew a smoke ring to this song, the top collapsed perfectly to make a smoke heart.

  • Isn't it amazing how a song can take you back to a better time and place?

  • FANTASTIC!

  • I wish I could play every stringed instrument like Paul does.

  • Its amazing that Pauls voice has changed so little from the very beginning of the Quarrymen to what it is today.

  • i wonder if the people of seatle who went to this concert knew that they were hearing the best version of this song ever done.

  • imagine how crazy awesome it would be to perform in fucking paul mccartney's live band! that would be the shit!

  • one of the best bands we ever had! they truly were great musicians! RIP jimmy and linda.

  • I keep coming back to McCartney for good songs and "Maybe I'm Amazed" is at the top of the list. He's fantastic. HapoSpoke, I think you must mean he CAN do it all! "I Want to Come Home" made me cry like a baby the first dozen times I heard it. ALWAYS anxious to hear what he comes up with next. The only singer/songwriter who can top McCartney IS McCartney!

  • to call Paul McCartney a genius is the biggest understatement.

  • @langerguitarboy And he's still alive too! When he's gone, there are probably only two left in rock. Dylan and Keith Richards perhaps. All others are 2nd tier which ain't half bad, but Lennon/McCartney genius.? We'll never see the like again if we live to be 1000 years old.

  • @RubHerSoul1 Yeah.. I have a feeling he'll out live both of them, but i think Mumford & Sons are the first band in a long time to actually get it. Check some of there stuff out!
