I was a white kid raised in a spanish home and environment. I was treated like trash and like a plague. Most spanish people are extremely prejudiced. My Step-mom is Mexican American...latino wasn't a term when I was growing up. I accidently referred to a Puerto Rican friend as a Mexican once and he got real defensive. But growing up my uncles would kick me and burn me with their cigarettes, an aunt would not let me go in her house, other things because of my race which apparently was "white trash honky" when I got older and figured out what that was I got offended...
