A lot of people complain it's fake because they're looking for competitive fights when they watch it, which isn't what wrestling is about. As you've said it is scripted, fake is such a retarded ignorant way to describe it. If I'm ever talking to someone about wrestling in terms of how real it is, I describe it as a percentage of being: 20% fake (punches and kicks), and 80% scripted. Since it's a bit ignorant aswell to say it isn't in some small way fake.

Look at the Hardys and Edge and Christian, they're not even 40 and are close to retirement because of all of the TLC and ladder matches from back in the day. WWE is superior,BOTTOM LINE. Money has nothing to do with it, they have money because they know how to run a business and they're matches are realistic, nuff said

It's still scripted and it is exactly a theater and maybe TNA or ROH doesn't have that big promoting power and storyline but they actually DO STUFF

There is no reason to do all of the unrealistic matches, the crazy bumnps, etc. All they are going to do is shorten their careers doing the shit. TNA doesn't know how to push or make stars. They focus on the veterans and that's their problem. Thats why WWE is still the dominant promotion and thats why they all fall to the WWE. Because WWE knows how to build stars, they know how to tell stories. There's a reason it's called
sports entertainment. ECW, WCW, etc went out of business for the same reason TNA will eventually fall under to the WWE. they don't know how to run a promotion. Speaking as a trained professional wrestler working the indies in Ohio, I would much rather see a match that tells a story than a showcase of unrealistic moves back to back. TNA and ROH are just a bunch of Spot Monkeys. WWE is the real deal, and like them or not they will always be on top because they know the ins and outs of the business

1- WWE has the money of Vince behind it, has the history and background, the power of marketing and a lot of creative good employees who promote their products very good (which I believe deserves the biggest credit in WWE) but when it comes to the in-the-ring performance (Not on the MIC) I do believe that WWE is not interesting enough for a lot of people!! It's boring, it's laughable, it's (as ECW fans said at One Night Stand to John Cena) "SAME OLD SHIT"!!!
2- It's not even a competition!! They're not even competing in the same market. 40% of WWE audience are women and children. That kind of show which could attract kids is not what TNA or ROH fans want so most of TNA or ROH fans are not even interested in watching WWE. On the other hand, WWE fans care about storyline and the movie-like factors. Raw is not a wrestling program for them, it's just a TV series so they hate TNA because it lacks those stuff
So I don't think they even compete with each other. Sure from time to time they try to get audience from the other (WWE with purchasing ECW or TNA with signing with Hogan, Bischoff, and Anderson) but it doesn't last long because after a while people in TNA realize "Yeah it is Hogan but it's a crappy production and camera work" or in WWE they realize "Yeah it is the old ECW guys but Vince, Stephanie and the writers won't let them do their best because of the PG rating"

dude I'm not even going to read your posts anymore, I read one paragraph and stopped. It's not the PG rating that prevents them from going extreme, it's the safety of the workers. Look at the Hardys and Edge and Christian, they're not even 40 and are close to retirement because of all of the TLC and ladder matches from back in the day. WWE is superior,BOTTOM LINE. Money has nothing to do with it, they have money because they know how to run a business and they're matches are realistic, nuff said

Watch TNA or ROH for a while or take a good look at some of the old good videos of ECW (the time that they were actually young and good not ECW under license of WWE) and you'll notice that wrestling there is more real. It's still scripted and it is exactly a theater and maybe TNA or ROH doesn't have that big promoting power and storyline but they actually DO STUFF

There is no reason to do all of the unrealistic matches, the crazy bumnps, etc. All they are going to do is shorten their careers doing the shit. TNA doesn't know how to push or make stars. sports entertainment. ECW, WCW, etc went out of business for the same reason TNA will eventually fall under to the WWE. they don't know how to run a promotion. Speaking as a trained professional wrestler working the indies in Ohio, I would much rather see a match that tells a story than a showcase of unrealistic moves back to back. TNA and ROH are just a bunch of Spot Monkeys. WWE is the real deal, and like them or not they will always be on top because they know the ins and outs of the business

2- They have the PG rating (which proves my point of how old you are) and that attracts a bigger audience

Tell me why WWE fills Arenas (not necessarily sell outs 100% of the time) but they fill arenas four nights a week while TNA hardly runs outside of a theme park that seats less than half of what an arena does. Why do half of the WWE Talents that went there thinking it was better eventually come back to WWE? All wrestlers deserve credit, that i cannot deny. Every worker from WWE, TNA, ROH, WCW, ECW, The indies, every worker deserves more

1- I don't have to be in the business to have an opinion about it. I'm a fan and I've been paying to watch it for the last 10 years so I'm the one who does actually matter!! I'm the paying hardcore fan.
2- You say WWE can't focus on hardcore fans and have to think of future, well I agree because that's their style but TNA and ROH are different and have a different target audience.
BTW TNA ratings has grown since 2002 from 0.4 to 1.4 but WWE's has declined from 6 to 3 now!

They were there when no one even knew what wrestling was so they had the advantage to define it but TNA and ROH are new so it takes time for them to find their audience. 1- WWE has the money of Vince behind it, has the history and background, the power of marketing and a lot of creative good employees who promote their products very good (which I believe deserves the biggest credit in WWE) but when it comes to the in-the-ring performance (Not on the MIC) I do believe that WWE is not interesting enough for a lot of people!! 2- It's not even a competition!! They're not even competing in the same market. 40% of WWE audience are women and children. That kind of show which could attract kids is not what TNA or ROH fans want so most of TNA or ROH fans are not even interested in watching WWE. On the other hand, WWE fans care about storyline and the movie-like factors. Raw is not a wrestling program for them, it's just a TV series so they hate TNA because it lacks those stuff

So I don't think they even compete with each other. Sure from time to time they try to get audience from the other (WWE with purchasing ECW or TNA with signing with Hogan, Bischoff, and Anderson) but it doesn't last long because after a while people in TNA realize "Yeah it is Hogan but it's a crappy production and camera work" or in WWE they realize "Yeah it is the old ECW guys but Vince, Stephanie and the writers won't let them do their best because of the PG rating"
