LOL, to all who are wondering this was a review from his show in Nov 2008 @ Constitutiuon Hall. Not the 2009 BSN tour. And yes his dance moves were funny as hell! I think he was just excited tho! Trust me he made up for it @ the verizon center.

Please understand the man is a singer who happens to have looks for days.If Maxwell does any dancing I think he's showing the silly playful side of himself and when he does his old school dancing how sexy so stop looking for the negative.

I think that is what definitely makes Maxwell so different from other artists everything that he does is totally unscripted and unrehearsed which makes him shine. No it may not be perfect but that is just Maxwell he doesn't strive for perfection. "What u see is definitely what you get". He does Maxwell :0)

When i saw him perform on some award show I almost fell the hell out my chair. WHERE IS THE FRO!! I love his fro but he still got it and more. He did that spin on stage too, just feeling himself...but it's Maxwell, he can do that. lol :)

F#ck Choregraphy (if that's how you spell it) Maxwell is fine just the way he is. He's not commercialized and you can tell that he improvising on the stage. This is the reason why so many fans adore him. I do not want to see him dance premeditated structered dance moves.

I only saw the videos here on Youtube. I agree with the other ladies that Maxwell's dancing was definitely with the spirit of the music & spontaneous. He made a cute sticking-out-tongue face at the Amsterdam show! Some of his dancing was subtle, which I appreciate! A different choreographed artist would prolly grind on the stage more, etc. I hope I'm able to see his tour in 09!

Very funny girls loved it! Remember he is a crooner which = spontaneity,I would prefer him focusing on the band, vocals and keeping it live/spontanious, rather than like you said a machine. Many artists get lost in this and the show becomes processed with no feeling! You never know Max may bring back some of those old trends that still work! Crooners moves never go out of style i.e. Sinatra, Tony Bennett, if M Gaye was still with us he would not be trying to dance like Timberlake etc. Regards

This review is cute, but I understand Maxwell's dancing. There is no rhythym or rhyme to it. It's just interpretive dancing. He is feeling every note and sound of the music and it tells his body what to do.. I love that he is free to express his musiq-gasms on stage with no reservations..

I luved ya'll review.. that was too cute..LMAO yeah I went to the richmond and b-more show because I couldn't get a good seat in DC and yeah he was pulling out some moves never seen b4..lol..but it's all good He can do that! It's all about fun and it shows that he's DEFINITELY having a blast on stage. Thanks for ya'll review and you're right if he's ever in your town go check him out ya'll!

i wish i couldve went to the baltimore or DC shows but i`m only 18 and you had to be 21 *sigh* but i absolutely love maxwell. hes my favorite singer (after mj) i think hes a real artist and i love to see ppl who make real music about something...but ive been really into his music this year but you guys are sooo lucky! i wanted to cry! i wish i wouldve been old enough to go. ughhhhhhhhhhh!=[. i am absolutely anticipating the new cd!

The Maxwell show sounds like a lot of fun! So errah, He's a singer and not a dancer then. That's cool. Still <3 him LOL! He reminds me of my dorky brother anyway so I'm soo not surprised about his bizarre moves.
