I saw a really great movie with Pullman. Can't remember the name but at the end he was a psycho killer along with his wife or gf. I remember thinking who knew this guy could really act? And of course, Rickman is fantastic. Rickman is the kind of man who will drive you insane because his voice intoxicates you but something in his manner is a bit standoffish and puts you on guard a bit so your brain feels like it's going to explode figuring out what to do with the mixed feelings

Bill Pullman might of been a magnificent King Aragorn In The Lord Of The Rings trilogy of course I'm not taking anything away from Viggo Mortenson's performance he was really fantastic playing the tough warrior Aragorn but Bill should have been a strong contender because he looks more of a king than Viggo and also looks more handsome and good looking despite his age and would of been very impressive to watch during the long battle scenes in the third movie The Return Of The King

Personally I think Bill Pullman would of been a absolutely perfect candidate to play Superman back in the late 1970s and why he was never chosen has always completely baffled me and there are times where I wish he should get more decent work given to him because he's such a marvelous actor and I have always thoroughly enjoyed his performances because he really does usually make a film that could either be a cinematic masterpiece or something that's a load of shit interesting enough to watch

Who's think that Bill Pullman would of made a exceptional Superman in the very old film made back In 1978 I know that Christopher Reeve was famous for portraying the character and did quite a brilliant job however I firmly believe that good old Bill would of been simply amazing to watch as the caped crusader and he would of probably been a real ladies man very young and attractive and he would of been always instrumental when constantly fighting the bad guys including his arch enemy Lex Luthor

I really like this interview - it's probably the most relaxed and 'at ease' I've ever seen Alan (& I've seen lots of his interviews now!) He usually looks as if he'd rather be somewhere else & the interviewers mostly ask such stupid questions but this is different! Can't say I'm bothered to see the movie though (if it ever shows in the UK!) Doesn't look especially appealing from what I've seen(apart from the scenery) & I hate AR with a tash!! No doubt get it on DVD though! Thanks for posting!
