despite much of the criticism her giselle received, i actually liked it. i loved her arrangement of the Adam's music and the costumes were amazing. stop bashing it, cuz it's not like if u tried to create a new version of giselle, yours would succeed. creating new versions out of classics are difficult.

Does anyone have this documentary with english subtitles? I would love to understand all that they're saying, but unfortuntely I don't speak french...
What a gal! So daring and iconoclastic. But her production of "Giselle" was disappointingly drab. And her Giselle in a traditional production in NYC was more an amazonian supermodel than simple peasant girl.
TThis production of Giselle is a reserche of something new, but is not a flatering production. The steps are too simplefied and looks amaterish.Sorry.Not O.K.
I love that her Giselle falls limply when she dies. It has always cracked me up whenever I would see Giselle fall dead at the end of her dramatic mad scene with her feet pointed daintilly.
