hello been runing trains for 40 yeras in side and out side sence 1991 and they are all dc-electric.some of the engines in that train are 20 years old happy r.r. and have a great week end gerald

not sure if this is true, but i've heard that railroad engineers and conductors hate it when all the power is facing the same direction. not sure if that's true or not but it certainly seems like 99% of the trains i see generally have them back to back. turn some dem babies around! (unless this runs on dc electric, then i understand u may not have a choice w/out rewiring the locos) but for real tho, nice layout... i'm jealous!
