  • I disagree with most of this, Introducing a group of people to Plague, smallpox, and Alcohol had more to do mass depopulation, People don't have a clue what types of international travel WAS taking place BEFORE "Columbus" There were Civilized seafaring sophisticated craftspeople in north america, south america, europe, and Asia. there were also parts of europe operating just as tribally as some parts of north america, during the same time period, living very similarly on both continents.

  • @theamazingshazbob

thanks for your imput, it stays, as long as no naughty words

    nor degrading is done,

you have points, as did the Sioux who spoke that day to us.

his words fill the air with iron of truth, wish you'd been there.

I related his words, the best I could

perhaps you'd rather watch my films

    (Bravest Man I ever Met)

    on my channel

  • @theamazingshazbob I actually love looking for flint to knap and I've found fossilized bones and lithic tools. The Spanish cartographers had known about the Americas for a long time before Columbus, and had told him that the land he was planning on going to was NOT India, but another continent. The Chinese had come (first recorded voyage) in the 11th century, with a fleet of eunuchs and had informed the Europeans of the Continent in advance. I do like your advice Mr. Bill

  • @Barncops

not hardly please keep naughty words off my sight

or I will have to ban you

  • I think your making that up. Horses where brought over by the Spanish. The Indians never wiped them out, they had none to begin with...

  • @ridgetownpimp were**

  • @ridgetownpimp

my friend and scientist comes and hunts points at the ranch I work at part time.

he tells after the ice ages horses were here, just as they were on the steps of Asia.

Horse meat is better tasting than buffalo. and so the horses were wiped out. he showed the small horse bones with cuts from flint knives that cut out the marrow.

Even my Pawnee and Sioux friends say the same thing.

thanks for your thoughts, negative though they be.

keep you and yours safe in 2,012

  • @ridgetownpimp Actually horses where here in North America for many thousands of years before they were hunted to extinction or died out, There were also cammels, wooly mamoths, giant bison, giant ground sloths, Hundreds of species went extinct here towards the end of the last ice age, either from over hunting or lack of an ability to adapt or probably a little bit of both. I think the early native americans deffinately hunted many species to extinction but it's impossible to prove either way.

  • @ridgetownpimp Quagga were small horses, they lived in North America, right next to 3000 lb land sloths, giant bison, mastadons, saber tooth cats, camels...all sorts of animals in North America. that doesn't make everything he said right either. there are numerous instances of metal working, silver smithing, copper, gold, etc. found in situ with stone. Numerous Large Mammals have become extinct globally, not just in America, by any stretch.

  • @bradleykmdean

you may re do your comment, please dont call people names,

I remove your comment, but as all my 200 films you may comment on

pro or con, and the people who also add their own thoughts,

Hope you safety and health in the future.

  • Mr bill I agree with you completely on thie matter.. If we don't start enforcing our borders soon, we be definitely be speaking another language in 20 years and saluting another flag.... Keep up the good work...

  • @bigredn

indian leaders sold out for tenkets and beeds

our leaders might want a bit more but we have been sold out.

    keep safe

  • @themattdaddy

sir children visit my channel, I do not allow naughty words

many channels do so please go there, I am blocking you

and pray for your soul I do.

  • and by the way...10,00 years ISN'T enough time to do all those things...history tells us this..and there's no proof that hunting horses caused their extinction..they hunted them true.but they went away at a time of massive climate change in n. america along with alot of other big species....deer and bison didn't go away did they?..and bison don't reproduce any faster then horses.

  • @00hellgramite

your points are good as the native American that spoke to me,

your ton of writing seem hateful, I hope not.

as for what really happened only the other side knows,

but as the Sioux told us, it should not have taken 10,000 years

to get out of the stone age.

I just enjoy hunting points & pottery. Please look at my other videos

bet you'll find something in the near 200 films you will like.

have a safe 2,012 & remember Jesus love you

  • @00hellgramite 10,000 years was long enough for the northern europeans, since they only started to work with the more useful metals around 10,000 years ago. I think that point is kind of moot anyway, if all the natives would've just banded together at the start, instead of helping the europeans kill their tribal enemies, then being killed themselves, It would've been nearly impossible for the europeans to conquer them no matter what kind of weapons they had. We'd probably still be fighting now.

  • Loved this video, and the philosophy it espouses. I especially appreciate the wise words at the very end. Great post!

  • @MadEclectic

thanks for contact, digging up the past be it under ground or keeping quite

while those with said blood line speak, I consider my life blessed.

    have a safe 2,012

  • thanks for opening my eyes to this, great culture but stuck in stoneage, my favourite culture is celtic, similar story there too cept they worked metal but didnt advance got taken over by other people mainly roman, john

  • @john24gold1

so many get stuck in on idea or way of doing it,

it was good enough for my fathers, or leader, or church said it must be this way.

    thanks for imput

  • Indian Chief 'Two Eagles' was asked by a white government official, 'You have observed the white man for 90 years. You've seen his wars and his technological advances. You've seen his progress, and the damage he's done.

    The Chief nodded in agreement.

The official continued, 'Considering all these events, in your opinion, where did the white man go wrong?'

The Chief stared at the government official for over a minute and then calmly replied..........

  • (cont).............. 'When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex.'

Then the chief leaned back and smiled.. 'Only white man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.'

  • @dlucas90

    thanks for your imput,

    have a safe holiday season.

  • We only had 10,000 years. Humans occupied Europe for 50,000 and Africa for 150,000 years in the stone age.....takes a long time to advance.....

  • @LAcountryboy10

you have a point, but all I did was repeat what the Native American spoke to me that day.

10,000 years should have gotten them out of the stone age, not counting contact with

cultures though very limited. but not even a wheel,

    thanks for contact.

  • @donze52 They did so many things, they truely in my opinion advanced faster than any other culture on any continent. First off whether you believe the land bridge theory, the ice bridge theory, or the boat theory they traveled thousands of miles of barren ocean, land, or ice to get here. They populated the entire continent, had vast trade routes, and even built pyrimids in Mexico. They found, manipulated, and implimented the sharpest substance known to modern science.

  • @LAcountryboy10

You need not convince me they did some really interesting things, the native American that spoke to us.

was however angry at his ancestors. they killed all the horses, they enslaved other tribes, and they thought smoke was holy. not counting in all that time, they hadn't made a wheel. HE pointed out that and other interesting facts. thanks for the contact, and hop you take the time to hunt points.

  • @donze52 O I definitely hunt points, check out my videos. We are in a 100 year drought here and its made a once in a lifetime point hunting oportunity.

  • @LAcountryboy10

wish I had the time to go hunt more, sure unwinds the soul

    walking the canyons.

  • technology was the one thing that made europe what it was, true, but that same technology could have destroyed it. in Indian society every one had a job, a purpose, a duty, in europe people just eveolved to be the slaves of people who claimed to be given the divine right to rule. such societies are what created old world diseases, bubonic plague, collera, measles, mumps. all because of their life style. Indians came farther in 10000 years, in terms of culture and tech than europe did in 20000

  • @MoRockHound

again your comment is taken, sadly slavery was here before the white man showed up, it is a curse of almost every culture.

again you are pro Native and that is cool--- just as the Native I spoke with had a different take on same events.

    thanks for contact,

  • Anasazi 06 I think that the real issue is HOW the lands were taken from the Original Americans...with lies, treachery, disease-infested blankets (small pox), overwhelming numbers of government soldiers, starvation, and alcohol. We can "might have" & "should/could have" all day long. It was what it was and, yes, the Indians did NOT form a coalition re.: language, government andf post-stone age technologies. This Indian man has every right to his anger but I find it sad that he blames himself

  • @Anisazi06

The Indian that spoke, again when I said, I was sorry my people took this land from your people,

he seemed to have no hate of that, but found fault in his own race, for being locked in the stoneage

for 10,000 years. I did this video of his words for no where else did I ever hear an Indian speak of it.

    thanks for the contact.

  • who cares wo was here first? who cares that they remained in the stone age? the fact remains that in ten thousand years while still in the stone age mind you, Indians, where able to create a culture, build an empire, created a system of trade, built monuments to rival the old world and maintained a population of 60 million. (which is more than the population of europe at the time) pales in comparison to the fact that these people didnt need metal or such things

  • @MoRockHound

I see your comment, it is on my channel that a Native American, he likes to be called an indian

told he was upset with his ancestors about being stuck in the stone age. he had a point,

as you do, all is allowed on my channel as long as it is without naughty words.

    thanks for contact

  • @shempship

not all, some I speak of think that way, and curse their own race for getting locked in the stone age

most likely will have to wait to we get to the other side to have all the answers though.

but fun to hunt points and pottery, and also to speak of a time when the Banks were not in control.

  • @IdigItup

Sorry I do not allow naughty words, I must remove your comments,,,, you may re write your thoughts, pro or con,

but naughty words only hurts your credability. If I failed in some way it helps to be clear so I

might have your wisdom. if your are just being mean, your wasting your time, I came out of an ophanage and have been called lots of dirty names, but Jesus forgives as Do I>

  • Nice "story". I have read some historical accounts from around 1900. Some of the first white men that encountered native American people in Ohio said the native Americans had no idea how the mounds or earthworks were built and had no stories handed down from their ancestors that explained these ancient structures. I do not believe these Indians can claim the ancient Woodland culture as their people. I also do not believe this story is anything more than a native American's embellishment.

  • @commissionertom

you speak a lot of wisdom, the old Indian I spoke with was the first ever though that cursed his race from days gone by, but he did have some very good points, thanks for contact.

  • Ok, how bout.... They didn't HAVE to evolve in 10,000 years. They only took from the earth what they needed to survive. They didn't NEED anything else. The white man came and brought sickness, lies, firewater, and greed. They ambushed villages, raped the women, kidnapped children and forced them into slavery. All this after the Indians taught them how to survive on this land. And now that we r merged into one nation we ALL get to carry the weight of debt and war in which our great country has b

  • @jenncorinne1977

thanks for not using naughty words to show your thoughts.

as for the Native that spoke to us, he told of his own people wiping out all the horses for food

he told of 500 lanuages and not inventing the wheel,

, he was truly a wise man in our sight that night, as for we white men, our sins in the past are many, but in my life on the bottom of the dollar pile, I take info from any and all that share without judging including witches, and Natives who speak outside the box.

  • I just think it's shitty for anyone to think or believe this.. If you weren't infatuated you wouldn't be digging.. Right??

  • @RealHeadHunter

Sorry I must take off your contact, as I do not permit naughty words

you may at anytime have your say though if you can not use such words

the word is ugly, but not on my channel, thank you sir.

  • Is this a way for white people to feel better about thereselves .. I think you sir have missed the bigger picture and that so called indian was a fool and not a real Indian..

  • @RealHeadHunter

Coming out of an ophanage I can tell you, everyone has their own story,

so this person did speaking as an Indian, and how he felt they blew it.

It should not have taken 10,000 years was his point. Wish you'd been there.

so you could have shared your veiw, as for us poor white dudes just try to

let everyone have their say and give them respect. and enjoy hunting points,

and wild gourds as they have 36 things I can make out of them.

  • Great story, I have never hear this "side". Quite eye opening.

  • @LuckilyLevi

AGREED, MOST OF THE TIME i ONLY HEAR HOW PROUD, BUT THIS OL NATIVE aMERICAN

WAS NOT HAPPY, AND THE POINT OF BEING HAPPY IN THE STONE AGE FOR 10,000 YEARS

DOES MAKE ONE SHAKE HIS HEAD.

  • ( Native Americans take land from First Americans )

( The First Americans Were European, The Solutrians )

( Europeans are INDIGENOUS to North America )

    ( Kennewick Man - 4/7 )

( Kennewick Man - Discovery Magazine Reports On the REAL First Americans ) : )

  • @SpikenAL

I had heard that rumor a few times,

my video was however not my thinking but rather relating the feelings of a native american, who

felt his past peoples failed and was angry at them. it was also to show how one must dig now days for

arrow heads and pottery as a great hobby now for 37 years. thanks for contact. keep warm.

  • @SpikenAL kennewick man was proven to be a hoax. do some more research before you pollute the minds of readers

  • @MoRockHound You Sir look to be the Hoax .. 0 uploads 1 Favorites LOL your funny :) the Oldest Artifact found in the Americas ! is Solutrian... Dennis Stanford from the archaeology department of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History... do some more research

    have a good day

  • As an Indian it is your reposnibility to live with the earth. Mr. Bill. Not sure were you are going with this? Even today with the amount of people living on this continet there is plenty of space for everyone to live besides each other. Im going to work and I am going to ponder this though Mr.Bill. Thanks for the video :)

  • @bsax08

wisdom in your thoughts, to bad the rich and corporations have hogged up all the land.

so much empty land and we on the bottom forbidden to live on it, or use it.

I am lucky to have the right to play on some private lands, but then we work part time there.

hunting arrow heads and pottery is fun.

  • wow im so glad you had a chance to talk to that man so i could hear this story. what he said never would have crossed my mind, it is pretty crazy that they never advanced with all that time. kinda puts a new light on things

  • @jjjester123321

yep he was the only native to ever say such a thing in front of me, and his point was

well thought of, and hope our future generations don't curse us for our lack of back bone.

  • An Indian is not a "native American" they are invading Asian savages.

Central Africans have also made no progress in 35,000 years.

We are not all the same!

  • @CelticSouthland

I have heard indain used all my life, along with Native American for the last 25 years or so.

but I was simply repeating what the Native American was saying. It is sad they got locked in the stone age, when Europe moved slowly but moved out of it. thanks for the contact, hope you find lots of arrows, and pottery.

  • Thumbs up.

  • @BullToTheShit

    THANKS FOR WATCHING AND CONTACT

HOPE YOU HEALTH, AND WEALTH, FOR YOU & YOUR FAMILY:

  • GOOD IDEAL I GAVE Ya huh

  • @waylan3

wisdom comes from you, wish you;d run for king.

  • that indian guy is a hater

  • @TheSlavicHeart

I have to judge without being in another's shoes, but his point has strength, being

that the natives never made a wheel, never united, never became one nation in 10,000 years.

I can only hope our future generations wont cuse us for what we fail now to do.

  • @donze52 what is unity? our corrupt governments? the indians live thru a clan system. they live in harmony with mother earth. they had no pollution. they knew the herbs to heal the sick. people were happy. the wheel is only useful if you build roads and roads are expensive and many trees are cut down because of them.

the amish/quakers know how to live

  • @TheSlavicHeart

wisdom comes from some of your words, This native spoke of a place that was in in harmony, but rather in a state of war, a mad max stone age, the horses were all killed for meat, he spoke with hate of them that could have over centuries became better, and more advanced, as for the amish, I have never met one, but only heard of the kindness and pre modern tool way of living, Hope you keep warm in this the dark cold time of the year.
