You really have some great reviews. I had no choice but to subscribe because of the depth you go into with each game and your knowledge in general. I also love that you seem completely unbiased and honest, pointing out good and bad points of almost all the games. Anyways, great job, keep it up.
Thanks a ton! Yeah, I always try to list pros and cons no matter what. It just seems so obvious. Mostly because...well...I am easily pleased sometimes XD I really do have to stop and think "WAIT A FREAKING SECOND, GEL! Is it REALLY THAT good? Find something negative, nothing is perfect!" or sometimes vice versa :P
Excite Truck is awesome. Sure you replay levels in new ways , but the gameplay is so fun. I just got Counter Strike(Thanx) I like it just for the fact that it really feels like an ARCADE game(what ever that means anymore)and my Wii library has more variety because of it LOL. Chicken Little? Sweet, I was wondering about that one! I'll pick it up now(Thanx). I found Rock N' Roll Adventure for 12 bucks and bought it. 4 levels, easy controls, but NO BOSSES, Unforgivable! -2 out of -10 to 10 range.
XD So I heard. Rock N' Roll Adventures (or Elviz) is actually a reskinned Anubis II and Ninjabread Man. The company that made those games, Data Design Interactive, basically just makes an engine and recycles it. Why do you think they have so many racers and Monkey Ball clones. The secret was that while Counter Force was released by Conspiracy, it was made by Hyper DevBox, not DDI.
Excite Truck is indeed TOO fun! XD one of my favorite racers. Period. Jak X, OutRun 2, Excite Truck: My 3 faves.
Honestly, I am glad I got Elvis' Adventure. I have 18 nieces and Nephews, and out of all the reskins, Elvis' adventure is a pretty wierd escape from what gets released(not that ninja Bread man is normal.) How many Elvis games have you played? I am looking for a cheap NinjaBread now.LOL
Well, I picked up NinjaBread Man. The verdict= Gameplay is the same. The length is the same. The Level design is way Cooler(Not kidding). I would say Ninja Bread man is accually cool, except it has no Bosses either! -1 out of -10 to 10 range. I also Picked up Ace in Action =I like it, I have not beaten it, but it really gives me a good idea of what classic shooters will be like for the Wii, granting we actually see more. Seriously, a 3D Gunstar Heroes or Contra could only be done on the Wii.
Subscribed! This is awesome!
