Fantastic work... very epic! Can I assume this won't be on the upcoming DVD version, though? :( I think it's a terrible shame that hey don't ask talented folks like you to work on these, when so many fans work so hard to make wonderful new effects like this. Seriously, this stuff deserves a heck of a lot more than a single post on YouTube.
If they ever update the Five Doctors , ide recommend you to the BBC as you would make some scenes more real and ancient looking like what was recently seen in the Sound of Drums .
Brilliant... I see what someone meant about the brightness not matching, but if you watch again guys you will see that he's actually got windows or something the top and the lightness comes from the shafts of light he's put in... very nice. Thanks. =)
This is brilliant. I hope you're saving this for the Restoration Team. I'm sure one day they'll be a second SE, along with the broadcast version on DVD.
Yeah- I painted the top bit in Photoshop with a pen and tablet (although the ceiling itself was based on a photo, but with plenty of bits added), then saved as a layered photoshop document and opened in Adobe After Effects and simply placed over the footage. The camera move was added in After Effects. Cheers!
flippin 'eck! That's great. Any plans to have a go at the rest of it?

This is incredible. I'd take my hat off but I don't have one. Will someone take theirs off for me?

I love the art of mixing new with old, but, like your work, it was successful. Great job!

Why do I get the feeling Rassilon would have asked for a statue like that? And called it THE STATUE OF RASSILON of course. XD

Cool man that looks a lot more like the tomb of the founder of the most powerful race in the Galaxy

Brillant stuff. But it does seem a little off color to match the actual footage.

Really good but it does seem a little too monochrome in the matte painting and I'm not too sure about the brightness matching.
