I remember hearing about Bethany Hamilton when I was a little girl (I'm 17 now) So the years went on and nothing else was said (or no one told me anything about her) and I saw the trailer of this movie. I went to go see it the very first day it came out and I could not stop crying. But thanks to Bethany Hamilton I'm going to follow my dream and become a surfer. Today I got sad and I cried too because today was my first time watching Soul Surfer. I really cried during this movie because it's about her arm getting bit off by a shark but she NEVER gives up. Right now I really really love this movie because it's very inspirational to me because this movie teaches you to NEVER give up in life and follow your dreams, no matter how bad things get. And this movie tells me to do same and NEVER give up in life. I really really love this movie now.

What do the parents of these kids do for a living to be able to live so carefree, and be able to just surf in Hawaii anytime they want without a care in the world either for finances, or for safety of their kids, and most of all to be able to afford such an environment free of what I have to live in. And no offense I think everyone should have a healthy respect for God, Nature and safety! My son is multiply handicapped. My first priority everyday is to make sure he is safe. No one helps us.

i saw Soul Surfer for my friends birthday in may. I cried when this scene happened and so did my mom when i bought it on DVD. For my 13th birthday this February, i asked my parents if we could go to Hawaii to learn how to surf. This movie inspired me in so many ways and improved my relationship with God.
