yeah he's right - stinks of private to me - being a popular place for trade (Ironforge) and seeing as players are playing from all around the world you would expect there to be a lot more people around. Private server - please do a real test.

I'm more impressed on the server being that empty, in Ironforge even, lawl.... I wonder which private server this was done on, as I would expect considerable lag on that machine on a regular live server with actual players moving around and the machine trying to cope with it
What settings did you use to get these relatively smooth frame rates? Did you just turn all the detail levels and resolution down, or did you also do some custom tweaks?
My EEE PC 900HA should be arriving this week, and WoW is one of the first things I wanna try on it. As I mentioned in my earlier post, it uses the same CPU & graphics chip. So settings that work for you should work for me also :D.
eeePC 901, eeePC 900A, eeepc 1000h, eeepc 900ha, acer aspire one, dell mini, and akoya/msi wind(the one shown in this video) all use the same 1.6ghz Intel Atom CPU and Intel GMA 950 graphics. So all of them should have very similar framerates for WoW with the proper tweaks.

so basically wow can run on this laptop really wow though WOW yeh i was gonna get a laptop and this looks like a decent laptop! does it lag at all in big citys with lots of people in it?

Maybe i wouldn't recommend to go to outland with it because it's much more detailed there.

Yeah it looks pretty empty, even on my P-Server are more players at 5am^^
