I think he is a lot better, I have scene them live 3 times twice with Bright Eyes, and once with MVB and MVB sounded "cleaner" than Bright Eyes. AND, he has always spit on everyone! if i had is talent I would spit on evryone too :) haha (just kidding) but I think his music is getting better.

you can tell he's off the blow...he looks like he's gained a few pounds...and thats not a bad thing. i'd rather he stay here with us and keep releasing great music

I made the effort to drive down from Phoenix to see him in Tucson several weeks ago. The band was horrible; extremely loud, all guitars playing over each other, no balance; Conor alone acoustic was ok. But he was way over the downer line; kept spitting at the audience or other band members. A MAJOR disappointment; I left early, first time in my life. Off the blow, but on seconal or heavy booze; the kid needs treatment.

I drove 5 hours to see him play and it was amazing.. he was a little drunk but whatever he was amazing and his whole band was having a good time.. I would make that drive again any day to see him play.
