Capitalism has historically being been labeled to nations that had mercantilist policies, not free markets. I don't see how supporting voluntary trade is considered extreme but many ideas that people hold today were labeled with such words. Corporations like centralized banks are state sanctioned and state created ideas.

In a true free society, those that wish to form socialized pacts and organizations with other would be allowed to do so and wouldn't have to beg a government to do it or force it on others. Btw, it is not bad for one to seek their own self interest and that does not exclude cooperation with others which is in most people's self interest. It is when you get into economic, social, and political imperialism which is what the state and other similar establishments engage in.

Also, as I said before, business that seeks profit/self interest over the interests of society tend to become single minded towards it so much that they will use government to their own ends. To conclude, capitalism is as untried as true communism because its impossible to sustain with human involvement.

There can never be a true free society, whatever your definition of truly free is, because we all have to interact with each other, and plenty of peoples self interest is a detriment to the larger population.

People with ambition tend to think of others as lesser and such ambition and unrestrained power is trouble for everybody else.

Unrestrained power comes when you give institutions coercive monopolies. That is what a modern state is. Ambition is useful as long as it doesn't lead to violence. We need people that are innovative and want to succeed to drive the economy in order to create new services so we have more jobs.

I do not oppose governments or organizations for protection as well as oversight but I oppose states that have monopolies over given geographic areas backed with coercion that are involuntary. Society is not really a specific concept. Society is just a collection of individuals that have self interests.

Not a right to shut people out of society but for individuals to have the ability of free association with who they do business and interact with. Businesses are not against the people when they provide jobs and do not live off corporate welfare in the forms of subsidizing.
