... i know i am not in the position to whine as i have smaller cast than yours, but its so agonizingly discomfortable... cut my tendon 6 days ago and i still have to endure weeks... can you give me some tips on how to survive and keep my sanity..

I had a cast that long when I broke my tibia I had a long cast for 6 weeks then two shorter ones for 4 weeks each. It'll go back to normal eventually. When the cast comes off your muscles will be smaller because they've atrophied from not using it. Mine didn't go back completely but I can run and walk. When I broke it it hurt so bad I never thought I would be able to walk again. The broken bone hurts more in the cast in my opinion. It'll go back. I know it's annoying and painful being broken.
