  • Truly enjoyed the video and I'm so very proud of their legacy. Their committed service makes present my service in the Army worth while! THANK YOU TUSKEGEE AIRMEN!!!

  • There was a Time. when courage and valor, humbleness and respect mean something, and those guys who had to fight against some many discrimination's and enemy's deserve Respect, Deserve Forever Memory, deserve Our Eternal Love and GRATITUDE, NO MATTER THE COUNTRY WE ARE FROM. You all, represent such a great lesson for all of us, Thank you so much for all you have done, for us :)

Man from Tuskegee ,, I respect you and honor you, but most of all..

    I salute you!!

    Capt, Gabriel Ispas R.A.F

  • Loved it! A very touching and informative film of some truely inspiring men. They ARE HEROS an inspiration to all mankind. As a species we have come so far due to people like them both black and white. Thanks the heavens. The only question I have is whether they truely never lost a bomber during escort duty? I like the myth that they never did, but history will tell. The claims that they did and the research behind it needs to be put out there, if it is so? After so many decades why these claims?

  • @TheToolDaddy YES indeed, is true, the never loose one bomber, in the US National Archive, you can find all the info u may want :)

Their technique for that time was so impressive and innovative, that the made it, to protect those bombers and their mission.

  • Well Done Mr. President. Well Done.

  • Great movie! Thanks for sharing and thank you Tuskegee Airmen for leaving a great legacy for me and my children.

  • where are the black fighters today? they are serveing in the arrned services today. there sons, daughters, grandchildren. we might not be perfect but may we get the chance to make it better everyday

  • Thank you Tuskegee brethren. I am a Micronesian who's life has been touched by your sacrifice. Thank you.

  • they just ruined the whole video showing that racist devil george bush..we all know that he hates blacks..hes from TEXAS....lol

  • I owe almost everything I ever received in the military and this country to these men.

  • how ironic eh. fighting hitler for a prejudiced country. wow. i bet hitler was laughing his ass off at america sending blacks to fight against him.

  • Who in the hell invited that piece of shit Robert Byrd? I wonder if he still has his KKK membership card with him.

  • Thank you for this posting. I've heard of the Tuskegee Airmen most of my life, but never saw a video on this. This was truly inspirational. I am very proud of them. This is human integrity, valor, honor and self sacrifice at its highest. God bless the 332 and the Tuskegee airman On another note; hats off to George W. Bush--the first US president that cared enough to truly salute them and to Colin Powell;--I am sure he had something to do with their being honored after 60 years in the making..

  • Fuck Racism!

  • I met an old man in train once. He told me he remeber sweeps on this train road at the end of war.Every sweep was started by lowpass what gaves chance to passangers and driver. So this man told he remeber lying on grass, looking at the shiny american aircraft destroying locomotiv and white smile in dark face of pilot in redtailed aircraft...For me this is a small victory of one man over stupid and hate ideology of whole state...Greetings from Czech Republic

  • Simply Outstanding!!!! Very Moving.

What a Great Group of Men!

    Thank you!

  • Thanks for taking the time to share this video. I enjoyed it very much

  • Thank you for posting this its means more than you could ever know

  • it was a great privilege to get visit with a member of the Tuskegee Airmen while sitting in an airport several years ago. Much like the Buffalo Cowboys, I did not learn who they were until I was well into adulthood. In a few weeks I get to welcome and introduce two of them to our local high school. Make sure your kids and granndkids know who these brave men were. Their story should inspire any and all to perservere and achieve in spite of adversity.

  • a salute from the president of united states, who is also a fellow airman. cool.

btw, bush is til this moment the only president of the united state who ever pliot a supersonic fighter.

  • Bush with a heart, in this case he has indeed shown he has... His .magical gesture was indeed most worthy to a very deserved bunch of MEN whose unquestioned bravery was proven long before they ever got into an aircraft, to defend THEIR nation .......jimmy miller

  • Remember God is with us all no matter what color you are, we are all brothers and sisters in god's eyes.

  • @adansierra no such thing as God. Just pure human will to fight and live on and do what's right.

  • Although their conduct on this occasion seemed good, George W. Bush, Nancy Pelosi and Charles Rangel were NOT worthy to be on the same stage as the Tuskegee Airmen.

  • Agreed. No one is worthy of it.

  • pres bush definatly isnt racist

  • ...one of the few things that George got right.

  • Pretty much the only thing he got right...

  • aww man, felt like crying towards the end when bush saluted them

  • Hey, I met!!! a real Tuskegee airmen that as at the museum i vulunteer at!!!!! it was such a honor meeting him!!!! i wish i would have gotten his autograph!!!!!!!!!! I' am going to make a tribute about The Tuskegee airmen and Roscoe Brown (my favorite Tuskegee airman) great video by the way 5/5

  • So where are the black fighter pilots NOW?

  • They retired. You can't expect them to fly forever they're simply too old. I think some of them might have gotten involved with educating the public.

  • Sometimes there just aren't enough stars! Great series of videos. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you, Tuskegee Airmen, for your service, sacrifices and perseverance.

FYI: How fitting that the name Tuskegee means "Warrior" in the Muskhogean dialect of the Creek language. Tuskegee happens to be the birthplace of Rosa Parks. Also, Tuskegee University employed one of the greatest American researchers, inventors and teachers, George Washington Carver.

  • I know, i truly understand your point, am only looking at it from another point. In all the Tuskegee guys did all of that with there sweat and valor, today blacks in the USA or in d armed force can all smile for the pain of those guys which is now their gain.

  • True

  • Sorry i was not talking to u ok thank u. Who let powel and condo get to their various positions, no US ex head of state ever did that.

  • you have a good point but I'm talking purely about the Tuskegee airmen

  • Am proud of u guys, all those that died making us proud, fighting for equality n striking out hatred imported by hitler. Pres Bush thank you for also making blacks proud!!

  • President Bush has nothing to do with making the Tuskegee Airmen proud. They achieved that themselves with hard work and sacrifice.

  • Thank you for sharing this. A truly heart warming tribute to these brave airmen.

    Well done.
