  • @suzuke352 no we would only make a big deal about the no glove or mask issue if they are chinese. im watching this and thinking if a china factory did this ppl would go insane funny world but on the upside this guy is an ideal worker fast and acualy takes care of the product more then his own health i like that in a man lol

  • @monit111 i know im just saying its beeter to wear gloves

  • Dude is a beast!

  • COOL! What the hell is it?

  • @randy1464 Hi, its a Case to hold a Life Raft container. best rgds

  • @ecfibreglassuk your the man..hows the fiberglass business what parts to you manufacture i would like to get into this business also any advice

  • @AllForTheGame Its not easy my friend :-) long days, weekends but its fun too, thanks for the comments, have a great day

  • Hi there,

I like to know, what kind of safety measures need to be applied in such process? especially when working with fiberglass and resin. What are the related codes if any?....thanks.

  • Hi, data sheets are available on all products and appropriate measures are taking with PPE, the company demonstrating the video have thier own policy, sorry for being so vague but if you read msds on products you will be able to view precautions needed, best rgds

  • Hi, Originally the idea came from a company called Resin Industries and it was called Prestovac system, it operates on Vacuum with a single venturi pump, this company who we visited adapted it for thier own use and make these 'components' with them, hope you enjoyed the video, kindest rgds

  • This video is amazing. Why did you disallow ratings? I wanna hit that LIKE button a bunch of times! It's amazing how the fiberglass mat with that resin ended up looking slicker'n sheeot!

  • THIS IS A PRESS MOLD....PERIOD!

  • Good video, its been a while since I saw the process done, well done

  • Really nice technique, results in a great cast. Thanks for sharing.. no masks?

  • LOL wow, I worked there for 5-6 months. I learnt a damn lot about moulding and have used the skills many times since, these people rock :) came across your channel while researching carbon fibre moulding.

  • that is a thing of great beauty

  • WHAT ARE YOU MAKING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @NickyLolz It looks like one half of a small lifeboat container... lol.

  • What is the part? It looks like some kind of septic system piece called a turtle.

  • Would like to know more i have had in Australia the "Experts" come and make a B mold for LRTM and if you want to look at it on youtube you will see what they did and never came back..... I have been trying to learn about LRTM and have had some excellent advise NOW! the B mold in this did you place a resin channel in it? Also like the two inlets at the vacuum point ...one for releasing...do you mind if i try to adopt this?

  • Hi, I cannot go into vast detail online but if you email us and leave a contact number i will try to call you or we can contact through email, best rgds...

  • I think the correct name for this exact method, with that transparent male mould is LRTM, Light-RTM

  • You are correct, the original name is Prestovac, the company using this process have modified it to suit them,

  • Now you're using a heavier gram matting for the final layer?

    2. You've got white colour pigment in your polyester resin? Does that make it the same as gelcoat used on the outer layer exposed to the marine environment or is it cheaper than that first layer you laid up?

  • The Gelcoat has 3 times more thixatrope in than a polyester resin, the mould is Gelcoated, left to dry then resin and reinforcement is placed in, the resin is pigmented white for cosmetic appearance only, best rgds

  • what type of fibreglass sheeting is that? Looks like a 3 layer composite.

  • Hi, its Rovicore

  • Nice work fellas

  • Thanks gil

  • What is this product for?

  • This is production of a container to hold an inflatable life raft usually seen on marine vessels

  • The 3 parts fibreglass mould video were long, this is short and to the point, may be you can reload a short version of that video.

By the way, how long does it take? What is the vacuum requirement? What are the spec of the materials?

    Thanks for the videos.

  • The material is Rovicore which is a synthetic non woven core sandwiched between Glassfibres, Vacuum is a single venturi at .8 / bar - 6.35 CFM.

Maybe ill take a look at length of video, new videos are shorter :-)

    best rgds

  • Hey dood, how come you dont have a video of how to make the male mould for that vacuum moudling video? I see you've got the female mould video up there.

  • Hi, i know. sometimes its difficult to video everything, ill see if i can visit the company soon to video a male mould in production on another tool to give you an idea of the process . many thanks for your interest.
