i run a full tube head and i run a different compressor through it and it gives me a punch in the face of extra distortion i love but it doesn't give me a lot more sustain. will this pedal be able to deliver that same amount of extra kick and still keep my sustains?
I have a line 6, which obviously has all the distortion i could possibly need, but the clean sound needs something else. Would a compression help it out? If not what would?
is this the same exact compressor as the one in the double stomp pedal with the overdrive?
i had an mxr dynacomp, and im playing through a tele through a vox ac30 with a fulltone overdrive and some delays, i had to get rid of the mxr because it just wasnt letting any sound out without getting too crazy with the feedback screaming.
@Axebattle No, it's the quietest compressor I've ever heard. But, it also has a built-in noise reduction that you can control by opening up the pedal and tweaking it, or even turning it off if you so desire. Built in noise gate!
I use the Route 66 into a J&H, I love the options and tones! Also having two OD's before and after the dist is very useful getting different colors. I just love the VS effects. I use the compressor side of the Route 88 with the tone control switch off and the internal noise switch set on min. Really a great compressor. I love the V2 series dual pedals! This has been my fav compressor in many years. After my wah and filters triggers it helps keep the level constant and before the OD and Dist
this is my future compressor, it's priced low; have many options, can be used as a clean boost+sustainer at the same time, very good buffer (it's important in the first pedal in the board) and it's beautiful.
just one question, why aren't you publish an analog\digital delay seperatly, a one with more options and tap tempo maybe...?
This bad boy just knocked my Kelley Compressor off my board! This was so much more transparent - the Keeley sounded like it was "squashing" my dynamics in comparison...
Does this pedal work well with Rickenbackers?
