I dunno, from a public order perspective what the cops did makes sense. @DrSanjayRape The difference is that the Islamic extremist scum were allowed to freely protest with no reaction or manhandling from the police. Yet when the EDL and other British citizens try to pay their respects and stand their ground peacefully they are manhandled, read laws, arrested, thrown in jail for the day. It's a fucking DISGRACE. It will only get worse if the PC police and government won't stand up for the true citizens of GREAT Britain.

I dunno, from a public order perspective what the cops did makes sense. You had maybe a hundred muslim extremists versus a smaller number of bruisers in fred perry shirts and shaved heads (not trying to stereotype here but to this yank there's a certain connotation). Someone was gonna get hurt. Cops in the states do the same thing when they block counter-protesters at Klan rallies. Doesn't mean the cops are taking sides, just keeping the peace.
