I am building a 18'' with a rifle length and you said yours is a rifle length gas system and the 13'' trx covered the gas block. Are you sure it is not a mid-length gas?

Nice rig im on a proces of building my SPR and my grendel..and my permit just got taken away from a dirorderly conduct 1A all my pistol and riffle are all high end..i got about ove 20 firearms theyre about to confiscate.the reason im sayin this just a peice of advice "stay clean" on the police record coz we got shady kind gun law here in hawaii.wel being a good person plays big part of it
If you want some good flip sights go with Troy battle sights. They are pricey but worth every penny. I have them on my 20" AR and with no optic can make 200 yard hits all day
@newmamba59 a good "AR wrench, set of roll pin punches, roll pin holders, good brass hammer, a vise is highly recommended, screw drivers, torque wrench for barrel nut. and which ever special tool you need for any special accessories your gonna add. hope that help

kryloned my ar, and got some magpul parts coming in. what was it you used to removed the paint?

@fam1squad I used Acetone and a tooth brush. Just use a spray bottle with acetone in it and use the tooth brush to brush away the krylon.
