I'm so glad you included in your comments that this sheet music score is from Henry Mancini, for I used to play this on an old Upright Grand Piano when I took lessons as a young girl. I played the entire sheet music (that I begged my Mom to buy me) about 2 times a day for about 2 years. It's been a LONG time, and you did VERY well on this piece. The left hand is rather hard as I recall :) THANK YOU! :D

How people can hear something arranged or composed by Henry Mancini and NOT be mesmerized or inspired by him, is a shame. He is a GREAT and yes..unfortuantely, late...composer, who was just AMAZING. May he rest in peace. I love his music and arrangements. If I ever just want to relax, I put on his music and just sit back, drink some Hennesy VS Cognac and relax for a couple hours.

Omg me too! When I was young, I had a bear shaped music box that played this song and I loved it so much. When I grew up this song was still in my head. I wanted to learn this song on the piano for so long but I had no idea where to find the title or composer of this mysterious melody... @Symoneg51 I've got the EXACT same story xD, I had a musical toy in a form of an old phone, playing this song, and I always wonder from where it was, i was desesperate because it was 15 years ago, i though i'd never hear it again... Then, the afternoon i was listening to a pianist playing in a big store, and i recognize the song he was playing, it was soo weird, i came to see what was written on his sheet... "love story".. I almost had the same story. When I was a child, had a jewel case that played this song, it was a present from my grandfather who died when I was nine years old. I dont know what happened to that jewel case, but a few weeks ago I remembered that song, and now I've found it and it's a very beautiful memory to my grandfather.

@ahmedmusician Thanks; it's a Yamaha Clavinova CVP-103 digital piano that my parents purchased as a gift about 10 years ago. The current models for the Clavinova are much more advanced; they would be worth investing into if you enjoy recording music or as a cheaper alternative to a grand piano
