Mauritius beaches are overrated and nowhere near as beautiful as the Seychelles or Maldives. However Mauritius has some of the best hotels on earth, with Le Touessrok being the epitome of luxuary. Also the interior of the country is very beautiful, and away from the beach Mauritius offers a lot, from beautiful scenery to bustling cities and villages
@mamoderawat : could be you are right that MRI beaches are overrated. However we do spend a lot of cash in promoting our beaches and hotels. Could be if the Sey and Maldives would consider devoting a advertizing campaign to promote their beaches, then turists would know abt it. However at the moment, MRI rules.
Mauritius' environment is being destroyed by tourism, if you love the country, and you want its beauty preserved, be aware of the impact that tourism is having. By the way, if you're going there expecting to sea healthy marine life, you will be disappointed, the mauritians destroyed most of it by using dynamite to catch fish back in the 70's.
great video. helped us decide on which hotel to stay at for the trip we just booking! thanks
