This is a great initiative. I do have some suggestions. Like most long interviews, this thing goes all over the place. It might be worthwhile to edit this interview into bits concerning certain subjects, so it's all neatly grouped together. You see that with many of the other interviews on YouTube as well. It creates clarity. Alternatively, post a simple written timeframe of what he says when. That way people can skip to the bits they like. You'll probably get more viewers that way (535 is few).
I can see the Ultramarines pulled off well. Sort of...halfway between the Emperor's Children and the Imperial Fists. Instead of focusing on defense of narcissism, though, discipline is the key focus. I'm sure Dan could convince me to like the Ultramarines, toward whom I'm neutral now, if he could convert me to the Rout against my abject dislike.
This makes Triumff sound almost...Prachettian. If that's right, then I might have to hunt it down.
good interview.

Dan Abnett is a great guy, as I learned when he personally answered a very particular question I sent to him in an email. Thanks again, Dan.

Hmmm... I may well try the "toggle between projects" idea for my own idle scribblings. And probably the "pause while the pen still has ink," too.
Thanks for the video!

The Rout sure isn't "stiff, starchy and dull"!
