And how many times has that happened? Seriously. It's not like these guys just decided to jump off a building one day. Most BASE jumpers have done hundreds or thousands of skydiving jumps and, as one of them put it, "can land on a dinner plate". People need to be realistic about real risk versus perceived risk. They're gonna get hit by a car or die from heart failure while they're worried about a BASE jumper landing on them.
