Just look up a graph of U.S. oil production. We produce half today of what we did 40 years ago (10 mbpd at peak), and today we're also using 4 times as much as we produce. And the whole world is peaking as well, so there's no more cheap oil shopping in other markets.

Screw going Green, Screw the electric car, I staying with my Camry, it has a 2.4 I4 and I can travel up to 550 Miles with one tank of gas on the highway while th electric car can only go 150 miles per charge. my Camry is green enough.

Many people wonder why Transit Authorities are going with CNG, LNG and Hybrid but yet they are unreliable. They proven NOT be to clean air. I agree going Green means going broke.

If CNG releases less carbon monoxide and particulate pollution, then it is "better." There is no perfect solution in one sense since all human activity produces some degree of pollution. You don't have to go green if you don't want to, but bunch of public places and transit, and commercial building are going green, I've seen best wester hotel has solar pannel all over the roof top, in San Fransisco they have trolleys and electric city bus runs by overhead powerline, in Las Vegas they got hybrid electric buses, and Monorails, in Phoenix and other big cities they have light rail trains, and in the future, were going have more High speed train in this country so get used to it.
@sideslide23 solar pannels may work out west or in the arizona desert where you can't find shade on any side of a building in the middle of the day, but where i live in Michigan your solar pannels would be hard pressed to use the sun when 8 months a year it's cloudy, raining or snowing. i know someone who had a solar pannel put in to lower his home owners insurance and ligtning struck it and it's never worked since.

Many people wonder why Transit Authorities are going with CNG, LNG and Hybrid but yet they are unreliable. They proven NOT be to clean air. I agree going Green means going broke.

If CNG releases less carbon monoxide and particulate pollution, then it is "better." There is no perfect solution in one sense since all human activity produces some degree of pollution. You don't have to go green if you don't want to, but bunch of public places and transit, and commercial building are going green, I've seen best wester hotel has solar pannel all over the roof top, in San Fransisco they have trolleys and electric city bus runs by overhead powerline, in Las Vegas they got hybrid electric buses, and Monorails, in Phoenix and other big cities they have light rail trains, and in the future, were going have more High speed train in this country so get used to it.

@sideslide23 solar pannels may work out west or in the arizona desert where you can't find shade on any side of a building in the middle of the day, but where i live in Michigan your solar pannels would be hard pressed to use the sun when 8 months a year it's cloudy, raining or snowing. i know someone who had a solar pannel put in to lower his home owners insurance and ligtning struck it and it's never worked since.

I see your point, but some bottled water really is better. Consider that most homes, the ones that the average American can afford, still have copper pipes. Next, some bottled water is filtered or distilled, making it more pure. And at least it dosen't have flouride in it. Also, it just tasts better. there are people who are using cars that are being propelled by compressed air. yep, solar panel on the roof & batteries array in the trunk (not all that dif. than the setup cars have now. ) and 2 tanks under the car, as 1 tank empties the full one takes over and the compressor kicks in to full the other tank powered by the electric from the battery and solar panels.. no hassle...no flammable chemicals... hmm...FAB idea!! and wait for it...AIR IS FREE!! for now.
