I don't really care for Pharrell's "Wake up, bitch!" refrain. It kinda ruins the mood of the song. His presence on the song isn't completely terrible, but at least call the girl by her name or something less profane. Lol. Anyway, this is one of my favorite tracks from "Kaleidoscope". It's kinda different... not your usual song topic.

@Braenchild1 I was thrown by that at first 2 then I got a better song. It actually fits, she's suspended in her own world "Don't wake me, I can't see you, I don't feel you.." Pharrell is a collection of negative people in her life trying to take her out her element sans the explicit language and calling her out her name. "Dreams hold me never let me go" she's n her own world focused on her life goals her strive to get to her dreams. Great song, great album, great artist. Definitely underrated.

Clipse are still part of star trak, as far as I know. They established their own record label (called Re-Up) and are going to release their 2009 album on it.

not just gettin a different deal; they had to terminate an existing contract. which meant they had to give up something to move on. plus kelis woulndn't just leave the neptunes. that's her team; she woulldn't leave willingly. when i seen the "hell hath no fury" album, star trak wasn't on there; it was re-up records and jive records, even though neptunes made every track on the album. music industry is a dirty business.
