If you want to resurrect the doctor/patient relationship, then remove the stranglehold of insurance companies by allowing for competition in health care. No regulations, no boundaries, no subsidies, no licenses, no llc status, just pure competition. Get the government out of health care.
To what patient/provider relationship are you referring? In the last 15 yrs, HMOs have inserted their bureaucrats between the patient & Dr limiting what decisions they can make. These insurance co's have turned health issues into the leading cause of bankruptcy in the USA. Not only do the insurance co bureaucrats get between you & your Dr, but if you get really sick they will cause you to lose your home. The only sustainable solution to this is establishing a government run single payer system
