Female singers and Power Metal just go so well together. I wish there were more bands like this. Nightwish and Within Temptation are good and all, but where are the solos? Holyhell is just full of awesome musicians who know how to solo.

I discovered HOLYHELL first part of the MANOWAR 21_01_2010 in Ludwigshafen (Germany). It's very good band! Very Professional! In the next tour, I shall certainly go see this band!

@info0 Actually Nightwish's Earlier albums were alot more power metally. i would even consider century child to be a bit more of a power metal album too. Those earlier albums didnt really have any orchestrations, just plain synths. and alot of their songs were more speedy too

@info0 well, its hard to label what Genre nightwish is. Marco the bands bassist considers their music as Melodic Symphonic gothic metal. This is not a view that is shared by other members of the band including the leader and writer Tuomas. He would consider their music Power metal before Gothic, especially their older stuff. I think they are a mix of both Gothic and Power metal if you ask me, especially with the albums Once and Dark Passion.
