Ah! I remember these, it was christmas of 1988. I got Kermit, he was the first thing I opened that day. My oldest sister got Miss Piggy, and my other older sister got Fozzie. Best Christmas of the 80's for me. :^D Love that feeling of memories reopened.

Oh my gosh! I totally remember this! I remember begging my parents for them and we got them. We still have them - they're in a bag in the garage or my closet with a whole bunch of other stuffed toys.

I had these for years, I used to play "I Love Lucy" with them (don't ask) and my mom would pull them out every Christmas and put them under the tree... until my dad bought two American Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies and gave them my collectable McDonald's Muppets as playthings. They destroyed my Muppets, the blacks of Kermit's eyes etched out, Piggy's snout ripped off and everything. I will never forgive my father for that.

This is a little weird but my DOG has 2 of those!! My dog is 15 1/2 years old and I found the Kermit and Fozzie bear at a Goodwill when she was a puppy! Her favorite is Fozzie bear but she likes tearing up Kermits' mouth. She's a 10lb rat terrier and she treats them like her babies sometimes. It's rare but I still find a few of these dolls at Goodwills every few years.
