My family originates from L'Aquila and Pescara on the coast....my condolences to those who have suffered in this tragedy. L'aquila was a beautiful town...Italy has suffered a great loss.

I was their two summers just were going to drive through and then we decided to spend the day their. It is indeed really lovely. My family is from Pescara, 1hr 30mins away on the Adriatic sea

The last time I visited them in L'Aquila was 8 years ago. I'm glad my family is alright, they called us to let us know everyone was safe.
