For one, I find it funny that you say you are open to comments and then turn the racist card on everyone who does not agree.
Even if China has done good for Tibet, that does not give the right to harm them. If China wants to make a statement, then the fact that they have to resort to violence shows a weak nation.
In the end it should never be a matter of who owns who because nobody owns anyone but themselves. Instead, it should be a matter of doing what is right.

tianmen square massacre is almost 30 years ago. china has changed radically since (for the better). even the riot in lhasa, which tibetans killed innocent chinese bystanders, china didnt react by shooting at will, like during tianamen.

Yeah, our natives are still looked down upon. Up until a few decades ago, the general view of them was that they were stupid, drug addicted people that wouldn't do anything with their lives, and would probably end up living off of government money in run-down reserves or being criminals, so that's what a lot of them did. Their image has been improving a bit with each generation since then, though.

apparently rats for tibet tried to protest against hu at the g20 summit, but i didnt see an inch of column about them in any papers. the washington post had some about anti globalisation protests but that was it. lol forgotten. game over

hmm the video talks about china improving living conditions in tibet.. so fake.. man.. thats not what i have heard .. many innocent tibetians were killed coz china is hungry for land.. lamas are peace loving people china invaded tibet ..killed its public and destroyed their monumnets and this guy says china is doing the right thing..

Why do u think the the Dalai lama lives in India and dose not want to go to his land.. u know y coz some one came to their peace full country and tried to kill them in the name of developement.. and its the DALAI LAMA we are talking about.. there have been protest all over the world to free tibet but china is not listening.. ive never seen a lama throw a granade or use a gun but i have seen the chinese kill those peacefull protesters..

the world? or your dream world. Tibet is officially recognised as part of China. Even the Dalai Lama is asking for autonomy, not indepedence. "in Nepal's capital of Katmandu, police broke up a protest by 200 Tibetans beating them with bamboo batons and arresting at least 20 of them." U have? I think its more like u seen some chinese throwing grenades into india. Worry about own country and stop using the Dalai Lama as a political tool. Calling him Lama is not very respectful

this infrastructure you are talking about is made to export minerals etc. out of tibet. The drinking water and hospitals are made for han chinese that are imported into Tibet to dilute the tibetan race and make it more attractive for them to come. attractive for
chinese to come to tibet.

Should Latvia, Lithuania et al be part of Russia because the Tsar's ruled them?
Should all of Latin America be part of Spain and Portugal because they ruled them?
If you think you've done such a good deal why don't you ASK the Tibetans? Oh, that's right.

I deplore the violent crackdown by Chinese authorities and the continuing oppression in Tibet of those merely wishing to practice their faith and preserve their culture and heritage. I urge the gov. of the PR China to address the root causes of unrest in Tibet by opening a genuine dialogue with his holiness, the Dalai Lama, aimed at granting greater autonomy.
