Would the bus drivers find this boring. I mean just braking and starting, braking and starting and not steering at all. I know I would, I am afraid to say.
Didn't you see the automatic steering? Be patient to watch the video and you will see it....(the 1st was around 50 sec. and others happened when performing automatic docking.)
Are autonomous rubber-tired trams, or those with automated guidance, able to expand the capacity of B.R.T. systems?

well, what if theres a car in the blind spot and it swerves into th lane and hits it?

1.This system is mainly to reduce the bus driver's work load. In particular, to assist the bus driver with docking operation.
2.The driver still has full controls of the bus and he/she can stop the bus anytime when required.

awsome but still not too practical unless you labbel every magnet with their own unique rfid code. or else only cirtan routs can use the same road

what is rfid, couldnt they just have groupings of codes so a detecter just follows a certain group.
EG a red detector only follows red magnets (but its not red, its a code.)

rfid is radio frequency identification
