I think yall did a great job!!! sounded great. Don't really reconize the song though then again that could be because I'm not the biggest Jazz fan but I liked this though.
The bass and piano are way off at the beginning and it messed up the drummer. I wish all of our trumpets were that powerful. How many trumpets are playing the first part? If Nate and Nick are doubling up with other parts, then I'd consider having them play their own parts; you'd have a nicer blend.
Did you go to G-town? Just wondering cuz you said "our" trumpets. That would be awesome XD. I think they doubled up yeah, Im sure they couldve gone out as far as like 5 parts and still been fine. Nate and Nick on 1st and 2nd.
Nah, I went to Maine East HS in the northern Chicago suburbs; I was saying that our trumpet section (when I was in hs) doesn't measure up to yours and our lead trumpet was the only great one. He now goes to DePaul University as a music performance major and he plays in the chamber orchestra. But it's cool how the higher trumpet parts are given to really great players.
This was one of his weaker songs but he's a hell of a lot better on about every other song. Nate Raiche and Nick Brandt are the best trumpet players I think I've ever seen, which would explain the excellent trumpets

Yeah Nate was marching in the UW Madison band until they got disbanded for hazing XD. I felt bad for him cuz he worked hard to get there.
