I beat this game yesterday, It's really fun. It actually wasnt hard, I beat the final boss on first try. I only mastered monk through the whole game with ramza. It was really all I needed to master though.

Try playing Tactics 1.3

It'll make you want to pull your hair out at times...

Just google it, and get a psx emulator ;)

i am also near the end of chapter 1, i only have 2 generics and i named them biggs and wedge.

my ramza and the 2 generics already mastered dark knight job and now level 5 to 6 onion knight job level.

i just started and am level 49 and only mastered 2 jobs ninja and monk could you tell me how you got to mastering so quickly?

This is my game man, was level sixty before the end of chapter one. had all the jobs maxed out and what not. If your any one who actually played this along time ago on the ps then youll know its hard to do something like that. The only thing about having the jobs early is that you cant get most of the weapons. Any ways good job man have fun.

I did the same dude. I got all the jobs in chap 1 and you can't get equipments for lancer/ninja/samurai and more. But I was able to get Rune blade/Crystal Armor/Crystal Shield/ White Robe/ from random encounter with Knights.

Also did you know that it might even be possilbe to chaos blade, excaliber and all the top weapons in chap 2? I haven't tried yet but I'm sure you can. If you're level 99 by chap 2 you can get random encounter with ninjas in the forest and they through them,catch it!!

God, everyone on you-tube suck at final fantasy games. I'll vs anyone on this, I have 6 hrs more than this kid. I only use 3 characters lvl 99 and 14 mastered jobs for each character. Stop playing these games you guys are horrible. I'll upload my game just to prove how shitty you guys are.

Well the new part about it is that if you get a crystal of characters you can obtain all their skills at once instead of one so you can master easily that way.
