I just tried out this design yesterday after my test (well, I didn't have a thin brush so I used a toothpick, which worked surprisingly well) and it looks great!

i do my ladybugs differently when i did them for my friend, but these seem way easier.

the best part was now i know how to protect my brush when using it.

i didnt know you should dip it in nail polish remover before dipping it in.

i broke 2 of my brushes trying to clean it LOL

but if i already have nail polish on a brush right now, how would i remove it?

@Rebaxx I think it's the bottle design-I got one like it once when I ordered from elf, so I think they did it as a design thing. I could be wrong, and some polish spilled. Oh well. =/

How long do you have to wait for each coat of nail varnish to dry? Not so much in this video but certainly the other ones, that have maybe about 5 or 6 different coats, just seems like it would take hours :) Not to do an hour before going out that's for sure lol :D

@charmedsherry2 Ive had those e.l.f polishes for over a year now, and to stop nail polishes from drying there a several things you can do:

1. Keep them away from the light. I store mine in a shoe box under my desk.

2. Don't forget to give them a shake every so often.

3. If they get really thick and dry thinnen them either with nail varnish thinnener or with a bit of nail polish remover :) (just be careful not to put too much or you'll destroy the nail varnish)

@KlairedelysArt well i've had bad experience with using nail polish remover to thin out thick/dry nail polish so i guess a thinner will work better :D because nail polish removed is used to remove it so it doesnt really help the nail polish to thin out. it becomes separated! but i still decided to ask u bout it because i trust ur judgement better :)

I have trouble when it comes to the second color. It just mixes with the base color even if the base completely dry. It looks like its dissolving itself. What can i do? Is it the nail polish I'm using? Or that I'm mixing brands? This has always happened to me :( The only way to achieve this look is by using acrylic paint :( HELP
