I'm pretty sure this is from the early 90's since that's when I remember seeing this one. PayDay candy bars had a different wrapper in the mid 80's. And they had a totally different ad campaign. The jingle in this one matches the one they were using in commercials I have from 1992 & 1995. This may have been the first one with that jingle. The hairstyles also seem like they're not from the 80's.

@wtcvidman This commercial was on my ORIGINAL tape from 1985.....its from 85. Also, Galen was born in '71. So he was a teen in the mid 80s.
