i mean straight-six, no FI help, 360hp, 8300rpm, RWM..so much more fun then the audi, despite the who-is-faster facts..put a supercharger in the CSL and you get lik 460,475bhp..that could waste and RS6 let alone RS4..audi fans wake up..bmw is just not living up to it turbo roots, and you better prey it stays this way cause if they go to the predecessor lineage you will just not stand a chance..

And how the hell did you make that conclusion? The M3 is not even released yet anywhere except Europe? Wait until it reaches state side and for comparisons. The new M3 is faster and better handling than the RS4. In America, Car and Driver magazine clearly declared "Sorry Audi folks, M3 is better and faster". Auto magazine in Italy got 4.2 secs, 12.6 secs for the M3, which is MUCH Better than any RS4 test.

theyre doing like 25 mph starts, audi doesnt have the traction advantage. from a dead stop the audi would win because the bmw would just be spinning its tires, but even in this street start situatuin the audis loss was a little exaggerated

The M3 CSL is faster 0-60, 0-100 and 0-100-0 than an RS4 avant or saloon. It isn't fair to compare the E46 M3 to an RS4 as the E46 is over £10k cheaper and down by well over 50bhp.

A CSL costs roughly the same as an RS4, but is quicker as it's built as a road-legal track car rather than a speeded up road car.

You are st*pid. Regular M3 is slower than the RS4, but still runs 4.8 sec 0-60. M3 CSL has 15 more HP than regular M3 (360 HP), but weighs 3100 lbs (400 lbs less than regular M3). It runs 0-60 in 4.3 - 4.4 sec and quartermile in 12.7. It makes the CSL 900 lbs lighter than the RS4. Do some research before you start spewing sh*t.

No your wrong! The standard current M3 will be beaten by this new RS4 - However the CSL is 0 - 100kms/hr in 4.7 - CSL runs semi slicks - its like a Porsche GT3 RS! or Cup car for the road! A CSL Will KILL even an RS6 on the track!

I'm am M3 fan and i'll take a bimmer over an audi any day of the week. But the guy drving the audi needs to learn how to drive. m3 outdoes the s4, but the rs4 should beat the current M3. Guy needs to learn how to drive. Can't wait till the end of the year when M3 gets 420 hp V8. Should be able to beat an rs4 while in reverse.

Not very fair, the M3 CLS is much lighter than the RS4 Avant, and it has a Launch Control which switch in next gear on maximum rpm, so this car in M-Track modus is fullautomatic from start till finish  :-)

I've raced an RS4 sedan in my CSL right up to the limiter from 90mph there was absolutely nothing in it.
