  • i see another video about eclairs and in that video before put the eclairs in the oven them are glazed with eggs, what do you think about that?

    When you glaze with eggs (egg wash it's the correct name) any dough before put it in the oven it's only for the color but doesn´t affect the final result. However be smart and if you know that you gonna cover with fondant, ganache or anything else you don´t need to brush them with the egg wash

  • @glad8tor77 use 3 medium sized eggs then, that's how I always do it and the eclairs come out great... oh, and let the dough cool like for half an hour before adding the eggs.

  • looks good, but somehow i scewed it up .... HELPPPP... i followed it step by step and the exact ingredients, the choux came outof the oven and was toooooo eggyyyyy tasted like hard boiled eggs and smeled toooooo bad (eggs,too much?) i dont why, i tried it the first time with 5 eggs,then AGAIN with 4, any ideas plzzz? i should have gone to the bakery and picked up a dozen :) but i enjoy cooking

  • I use 4 eggs not 5

    Let dough cool down to room tep (20 min) before adding egg ... otherwise the dough cooks the egg before you get it onto the pan

  • when your done cooking it in the pot if you have a stand mixer or hand mixer, mix the dough till its cool then add the eggs slowy. that should help!! good luck!
