There are plenty of drummers who destroy him when it comes to technical ability; McBrain, Appice, Powell, Aldridge, Wright, Dunbar just to name a few from a similar genre and from the same time period. If you want to mention amazing drummers, Minneman, Royster, Portnoy and Lang come to mind. Tommy Lee doesn't make the list.
